Bob and Paco are traveling down the old dusty highway while the moon is slowly setting down. The mountains in the distance looked like big ocean waves that could crash down at any moment. Paco had never thought he would be able to see this in his entire life.
"So Paco, let me ask you something. Why did you run away from home? I mean I'm not one to judge, I'd just really like to know why."
"Well I did say I was gonna tell you. Um, I just felt trapped in a bubble. I couldn't breathe, and even when I could, it was immediately back to what I knew inside that bubble. The world was waiting to be explored by me, all while I was just being kept away in a confined corner of it all. I just had to get out of that forsaken place and go do what I had wanted to do for so long."
"That's quite a story there Paco, are you tired? It's just I don't think we should keep walking any more tonight."
"Yeah it'd be a good idea to sleep, we'll be warmer in the actual daylight."
"Let's go find a place to lie down then."
Paco and Bob looked around for a place to sleep in and couldn't see anything.
A little beat up cardboard box not far from them was in view through the graininess of the wind pushing the sand along the road.
"It doesn't look great but it should be somewhat okay for tonight, right Paco?"
"I can't complain, I know it wasn't going to be easy out here so this is as good as it's gonna get."
Bob and Paco walked into the box and then curled up next to each other.
Paco thought to himself, "I'm glad I met Bob, I still don't know if I can really trust him but what choice do I have? He knows his way around the outside world. He's my only chance of making it."
"Well Paco, better rest up now cause we have a long day ahead of us. Try and get comfy while you can cause you never know if it'll be the last time you can ever be comfortable. Always take in what you learn in a day. Talk to you soon Paco, night."
"Goodnight Bob, talk to you soon." Paco said under his breath
