Chapter 1 - Cold Walk

It was over.

I was so excited.

The Cavaliers won the Dci championship.

The best part is they beat Carolina Crown.

They beat them by five points.

But the Cavaliers took on victory!

It was very crowded.

And it was very cold.

My mom bought me a Dci ticket and a hotel reservation.

I got them as a present for my twenty-fifth birthday.

I had to walk to my hotel, the Cnn Omni.

I had to walk from the Georgia dome in the freezing cold.

The weather took a turn for the worst.

It was going to be a hot and humid night.

Well the weather man was wrong.

It was windy and freezing cold.

I had to walk alone.

I heard many people talking, but going in opposite direction as me.

I was alone.

I thought no one was there.

I was shivering.

Walking with my hands around my arms

Trying to stay warm.

Then I heard a voice.

'Hey! Are you okay?", said a guy's soothing voice.

I whipped around.

I saw one of the Cavaliers running toward me.

Mom always told me to run away from strangers.

I just couldn't move.

He got really close to me.

He got so close, I stood eyes to chin.

He was quite attractive.
