I Kissed A Cavalier

Chapter 15 - The Question

I got to stand on the sideline of the field.

It was almost time for the score to be announced.

All of the Cavaliers were standing on the field.

And so was Carolina Crown.

We were all waiting.

Then the announcer came on.

"Alright ladies and gentlemen.

The scores.

Carolina Crown.

99.5.

The Cavaliers.

There score is 99.8!"

Everyone was cheering

All the Cavaliers were so happy.

Me and Cary ran toward each other.

We hugged.

Carolina Crown.

They were Pissed.

Bad.

Cary stepped out away from every one.

Everyone cleared out of the way.

Cary stood on the fifty yard line.

Some one gave him a microphone to talk into.

"Can I have you attention please. Thank you all for coming. I have an announcement. Can I please have Mr. and Mrs. Layne to come out on the field."

I saw mom and dad walk out onto the field.

The walked over behind us.

"Can I please have my beautiful girlfriend Cathrine."

I walked over to him.

He took my hand.

He looked so hot in his uniform.

"I want to say that I love you. I want to be with you forever!"

Dad took the microphone.

Cary got down on one knee.

"Cathrine Layne. Will you marry me?"

I put my hands over my mouth.

I looked at the ring.

"Yes!", I said happily.

He slid the ring on my finger.

It fit perfectly.

He stood up and we hugged.

I started to cry.

So did mom and dad.

It was so romantic.

We hugged some more.

He was sweaty.

But I didn't care.

I was engaged to a Cavalier.
