I awoke this morning to the sound of knocking on my room's door. I jolted up from surprise since I went straight to sleep yesterday, leaving no time for meeting my classmates so who on earth was waking me up? Quickly, I slopped out of my bed and opened it, to my surprise there was a pretty girl with smiling at me, dressed in the school's neat uniform. Possibly a bit too classy for me, it was composed of a blazer, vest, shirt, tie, knee-length skirt and Mary Jane shoes.

"Hi, I'm Minseo. I have your uniform here, I'm next door if you need anything." She giggled, handing me over my uniform.

"Hi, I'm y/n and thank you. A question I have is, does everyone speak English here or am I coincidentally speaking to the people that do?" I replied laughing.

Minseo nodded, "yeah we are all fluent except for the odd few. We've all been taught English since we were young. By the way, you're one of the only foreigners here so watch out for certain people." She bowed and walked out with the same smile she walked in with.

I tried my uniform on for the first time. It fit me well and made me look...decent. The blazer hugged in my figure, making me look gorgeous regardless of my body shape. I twirled in front of the mirror and I noticed the time as I picked up my phone. Lessons were starting in minutes and I had to find my way through these completely unfamiliar buildings. Without a doubt, I knew I was going to get lost and be late. Typical.

I zoomed out my dorm, crashing into all the doors on my way out. I scurried my way into the empty corridors, sliding down the staircase to get to my form room. Eventually, I reached the room I was supposed to be at 10 minutes ago. I hesitantly knocked on the door to which it opened and an old man began glaring at me. Before I had even stepped into the classroom to see who I would be with I began to get scorned.

"So you must be y/n? Not a very good first impression, if this happens again, it'll be detention!" He shouted as he gestured me into the class.

I slowly crept in, tucking the hair behind my ear.

To say I felt out of place would be an understatement. I looked through the class to find an empty seat when I saw their faces. The same 7 faces I had seen the other day, glaring at me the same way the rest of the class was. Except, there were subtle attempts to lip biting that came across more comical than seductive. Minseo was right, maybe these are the sort of people I should watch out for.

"Sit there." The teacher mumbled, pointing towards an empty seat at the back.

I walked up to the isles with all the classmates perched at their desks, staring at me. I guess I should expect it if I'm a foreigner in a country with a largely mono-ethnic society. I put my bag down and let out a big sigh without realising, multiple heads turned to look at me.

"Bored already?" A voice inquired next to me, "I'm Jimin, Park Jimin."

I smiled trying to be polite, "I'm y/n."

He had an extremely charming smile and he's confident, without being too stereotypical, I feel like there's a big ego hiding somewhere.

Maybe that's the point?

After the lessons had stopped for lunch, I found myself caught up in the cafeteria. There were too many people to know what was happening.

"Y/n, y/n!" I heard from behind me.

I turned around to see a group of girls grinning at me. I only recognised a few from my class but I walked over anyway because I was not about to sit alone on the first day.

"Hey." I stuttered; clearly very intimidated by all the stares I was receiving.

All the girls were very pretty and I could already sense, they were going to be pick-me girls. In a clockwise order, the girls told me their names and asked me to sit with them because it would be such a privilege to be associated with them. As I began eating my lunch I felt a gaze on the back of my head but before I could turn, one of the girls interrupted me.

"So y/n, I guess you've noticed the super-hot boys by now? Those ones." She pointed to the table behind me. "I don't want to brag but we're the popular group so the boys will only date us. I mean, you can join the group but you can't take our men." She explained in a defensive tone, ironically giggling afterwards.

"Oh, so you like own them like dogs? That's really cute. Which one are you dating then?" I smirked, turning to face the table of boys.

She got red in the face.

I sighed, "is it that one? Oh, no! It's him, right? No, it's got to be him?" I pointed.

The guys began looking my way in confusion and I pointed them all out.

"You bitch! They're ours, alright? And, if I see you getting close to any of them... it's over for you!" She yelled, making the cafeteria silent.

I muttered, "psycho," under my breathe.

I swiftly decided to get the fuck out of there and as I left my seat, I looked towards the guys table to see all 7 glaring at me. I couldn't help but feel my cheeks flush a bright colour of red as I left the cafeteria.

Did I really have to cause a scene on my first day?

As I made my way through the hallways, I heard heavy footsteps coming from behind me. For a moment, I could help but clench my fists and prepare for a fight because I thought those girls had come after me. However, when I looked back, I was shocked to see Jimin and one of his 7 amigos smirking at me.

Just what I needed...
