It had been a long week. The school work was tiring and my brain couldn't cope with constant stress. I had kept thinking about home, I hope mother was happy now that I am more depressed than before. Jimin hadn't turned up to any of the lessons this week, I wasn't worried. Well, I was but I acted like I was really unbothered. I avoided the boys at all costs and I'm pretty sure I accidentally caused a fight between Namjoon and Jungkook because I said I was dating Jungkook...
I was sat on my bed scrolling through social media when the thought came to my head. What if I do a glow-up? I want to make everyone who said something nasty feel really jealous. When I feel down, I've always gotten a piercing or something, this could be fun.
I left the school early Saturday morning, I took a taxi into Seoul- emptying my bank account at the same time. I took my time browsing the cosmetic stores, gathering anything cheap but pretty. As I was leaving a beauty shop, I saw rows of hair dye and that's when I knew I was going to do it, I was going to go purple. I knew I could get told off but I did it anyway.
Over the weekend, I manage to dye my hair a light shade of lilac, probably my favourite colour and I had practised my neglected makeup skills in an attempt to make myself look better. Especially considering I rarely wear makeup.
I woke up earlier than usual to give me time to get ready. I showered and cleaned my purple locks of hair, admiring it as my hands trailed through it. I slid on my school uniform and applied my newly purchased makeup. Before I left my dorm, I raced over to my mirror to admire my final appearance.
I did myself proud.
I left my room and made my way to the main school building. As I strolled through the corridors, I relished the countless stares I was receiving. I danced into my form room and paused at the front when I saw Jimin sat in his normal space. I became somewhat shy and I tilted my head down, dodging his gaze.
"Say y/n, I like your hair." Jungkook complimented.
"Thanks," I stammered.
I looked over to see Jimin staring at me. I could feel my cheeks heat up to a bright shade of pink. Just as I was going to say something to Jimin, Namjoon wandered over to me, hands in his pockets.
"Library at 4, don't fuck me about this time," he demanded.
I can't lie, Namjoon directing me about was kind of hot, I'd never tell that to him. However, the glance that fired off Jimin's face gave me more satisfaction than Namjoon ever could.
Lunchtime came around slowly, the lessons I had were so boring. I was waiting in the line for my lunch when Jungkook appeared beside me. I could see all the nasty glares I was receiving from the 'popular girls' but I found it entertaining.
"Hey," Jungkook spoke.
"Hello..." I replied, sensing some awkwardness.
"Would you like to go on a date with me?" He invited, glowing with a blush.
"On a date with you?" I exclaimed far too loudly but I played it off as I saw Bangtan looking over.
"Yes. I would love to go on a date with you!" I cheered.
Jungkook grinned and my heart melted slightly. Those bunny teeth were so cute! Even though he came across as nasty at first, I'm surprised at how he changed.
