If you were a sunset, you'd be defying the time it should take for earth to complete one rotation,

If you were a shadow, you'd never be seen staying in one place with a constant position of the sun,

If you were gravity, such phrase as falling in love would just be ridiculous.

These are just exaggerations,

Just exaggerations for you to know

How much you've been defying hope.

If you were hope, then you'd be the hope that comes but leaves too soon...

You'd be the hope that easily puts a smile on my face and so fast you can take it away.....

But then, your power is more than this, your power of defying things to be exact...

You defy the longest time a man could be possibly late for a first date.

You defy the possible human capability to give chances and honestly wait.

You defy the the maximum amount of unreturned calls a girl could possibly have.

You defy everything I believe in, I used to believe in.

Now I'm afraid you'd defy everything I'm writing here...

because

you defy me.....

and it's annoying that I love..
