Chapter 4- Hospital

~Mindi's POV~

“Omma! Jebal ireona! Wake up!” I cried as I ran through the halls of S University Hospital next to her stretcher.

“You have to stay out here.” One of the doctors said, “We'll start the surgery immediately, but please get in touch with your father.”

“My father...? Yes, I understand.” I said.

Flashback

I came home from school when I heard yelling in the kitchen. I listened in at the side.

“YOU BASTARD! WHY DID YOU CHEAT ON ME? I LAYED DOWN MY LIFE FOR THIS RELATIONSHIP- FOR YOU! EVEN AFTER WE HAD MIN DI, YOU CHEATED ON ME! CAN'T YOU STOP FOR HER SAKE?” My mother was crying at this point.

Cheat? My dad cheated on my mother? I sat on the floor.

“Calm down, Ah Na.” And then my mom threw a pot on the ground.

“Don't you dare come back here again. Leave right now! I will send the divorce papers. And you can talk to me through my lawyer.”

My dad came out of the kitchen. “Min Di-ah...”

“Don't talk to me. Leave our house please, Appa.” I replied.

Flashback End

I picked up my phone and looked at Appa's name for a long time before I finally pressed call. He picked up and said, “Mindi-ah!”

“Appa... omma.... omma-ga, omma-gayo... is having surgery ri-right now. Eottoke? Eotokajyo? Can you come right now? Come right now please!” I cried.

“Huh? Arraseo. I'm coming. I'll be right there. Just wait a little.” Appa said.

Fast forward>>>

Appa came running to the hall outside of the surgery room. “Is she okay? What happened?”

The doors opened and a surgeon came out. “We took out the glass and sutured up her wound. Her vitals are stable right now, but we need to wait until she wakes up to see, but I think she'll be okay.”

“Thank you, doctor.” Appa said. The surgeon nodded his head and walked away. Appa turned to me and said, “You can leave now, I'll stay with your omma tonight.”

I was tired and exhausted so I decided not to argue with him. I went home and realized that tomorrow I had to go to SM Entertainment to get my contract signed. With my omma in that condition, I feel bad for even thinking about it. But, omma's not awake and appa is with omma. How will I even get to sign the contract?

7 AM

Ring Ring

I woke up at my ringtone. I looked at it and appa called.

“Oh, appa.”

“Come to the hospital, Mindi-ah, your omma is awake.”

“Jeongmal?! I'm coming right now!” I immediately got out of bed to visit my omma at the hospital.

"Omma!" I started crying, "You have no idea how scared and worried I was!"

"Omma is okay now, baby. Tell me what happened while I was gone. How did you do on your auditions?" Omma asked sitting up on her hospital bed.

"Ah- the auditions... I passed it. I'm supposed to go in today with a parent to sign the contract. But, omma is here, so I can't do that..." I said sadly, "But, is your condition better?"

"Aish, don't worry about me, baby. Just because I'm here doesn't mean you can't do that, you silly girl. Take your appa with you to sign the conntract." She gave me a pointed look, "I divorced your appa. That doesn't mean that he's not your appa anymore. Just tell me how it goes arraeseo? Go now."

I went outside to where my appa was waiting. "Appa, we have to go somewhere. Uh, I passed the auditions for SM Entertainment and I need a parent to take me to sign the contract today, and since Omma is here, can you go with me?"

"Of course! I'm your appa. You can ask me anytime."

So we headed to the SM Building to sign the contract. When I got there, there was hardly anyone, but we quickly headed towards the receptionist desk. The girl, Shi Na, told us to go to to Lee Soo Man's office (A/N: He's not the president anymore but for the sake of this story, he still is, okay? Okay.") to sign the contract. 

Mr. Lee explained the contents of the contract to my appa and soon enough we finished signing the contract with an extra 50, 000, 000 ($5,000)  in my omma's bank account. 

"You are now officially a trainee at our company. I'll tell someone to show you to do the dorm. You'll be sharing a room with the two other incoming trainees, Han Li Yun and Lee Eun Bi. Please move in by the end of this week." Mr. Lee said to me. Then he turned to my appa and shook his hands. 

"Please take good care of my daughter, Mr. Lee." Appa said. While we were leaving, I saw Lu Han. He turned to me and smirked. 

"Hello, trainee." He said.

I think I'm gonna update like every week assuming I'm not that busy. It's almost August and I should be on break. I am on break, but it's just I'm doing things. Not vacation though. Here's a fun (or not fun) fact: I've never been on vacation. Isn't that like so shocking? I've been to other places, but not for vacation. 

About the multi-media, it's just, I found a really cute clip of Luhan watching his reaction of the Heirs parody at the SBS Gayo- Daejun.  Watch it! I think it's because of things like this, I fell in love with him, hehe

Vote and comment for this story please if you like it ^^ I kinda feel like it's getting boring, right? Well, the next chapter will be skipping some time and jumping into some action. So keep reading, okay? And from the plot that I want to use, it'll be pretty long, I guess, but since I don't stick to my original ideas because I always make detours, it's gonna be pretty long. But I promise, not over 50 chapters. Probably less. A lot less.
