Change of Plans (Niall Horan FanFic)

Part 9

“Where are we going?” I asked Niall. He stopped for a second looked around and said “I honestly don’t know.” We both started laughing. “Let’s go back to your flat.” I said. “Watch a film?” Niall said raising his eyebrows and smirking. “Well, I know I’ll watch, you’ll probably just eat.” I said poking his abs. He winced playfully. “That hurt babe.” “Oh hush, no it didn’t” We hopped on the next double decker bus and made our way back to his flat.

“How about scary?” Niall asked holding up some movies. “No thank you!” I said. “Well, I don’t want to watch a sad movie…what else is left?” Niall asked. I picked up a couple movies and smiled. “What?” Niall asked. “Romantic Comedy!” I said. Suddenly, the microwave went off. Niall jumped off the floor and raced to the kitchen. He came out seconds later with three bowls of popcorn, two just for himself. I laughed. I put in the movie I wanted to watch and sat on the couch next to Niall.  “What are we watching?” Niall said. “No Strings Attached.” I said throwing some popcorn at him. “This means war.”

After about 45 minutes into the movie, I was doubled over laughing on the floor, Niall on the couch, and popcorn was everywhere. “This…is…so…funny!” I said between laughs. I picked some popcorn off the floor and threw it at Niall. He just started laughing. I laughed too. By the time we had composed ourselves enough to where we could talk, Niall was upside down on the couch and I was lying on the floor in front of him. I rolled over onto my stomach and pushed myself up onto my elbows. Niall just smiled at me, still upside down. “What?” I said tapping his nose. “Come here…” I inched closer so our faces were almost touching. I smiled. “Kiss me” he said. Two simple words that made my heart race. I smiled and closed my eyes as the distance between us didn’t exist anymore. He was upside down and I was right side up. It was like Spiderman and MJ, but better, because it was me and Niall. Me and Niall. I still love the way that sounds. The kiss got stronger. Niall grabbed my face in his hands. I could feel him smiling and I smiled right back.

NIALL’S PERSPECTIVE

“Well good morning sleepy heads” I woke up and saw Emily and Zayn standing on top of me. “Ugh…erm.” I mumbled. “What?” Zayn asked. I got up off the couch and saw Kayla lying next to me. She was so beautiful when she was asleep. “I’m hungry” I said walking to the kitchen. “When aren’t you hungry mate?” Zayn said laughing. I put some waffles in the toaster and went to my room to change. I ran my fingers through my hair and brushed my teeth, all while hearing mumbling outside the door. After I was done, I walked back into the kitchen, where Emily, Zayn, and Kayla were eating my waffles.

“NO! GET AWAY FROM MY FOOD! Not you Kayla! ZAYN YOU SHOULD KNOW BETTER. Sorry Emily, didn’t mean to yell at you, but please don’t eat my food. ZAYN! COME BACK HERE WITH MY WAFFLES!” Kayla and Emily burst out laughing as I chased Zayn through my flat. After about 2 minutes Emily said “Zayn, give Niall the waffle.” Zayn stopped running and slumped over to me. He handed me the waffle. I took it out of his had with some force and he pouted. I walked over to Emily and said “Please stick around. He listens to you.” She smiled with satisfaction as Zayn sat down next to her and mumbled “But I’m hungry too.” She said “Yes, but don’t take Niall’s food.” He pouted again and she kissed him on the cheek. He smiled and kissed her on the lips.

“PDA!” Louis shouted walking into my flat. “Hey Lou” Emily said laughing and turning red. I let them catch up and went over to Kayla who was eating some of my waffles too. “Good morning Princess. Sorry about that little distraction.” I said giving her a quick kiss. “You taste like maple syrup.” She said. “So do you” We laughed.

“So why are you guys all in my flat?” I asked with a mouthful of waffles. “Well, I did come over here to yell at you two for missing dinner with us at Nando’s! I mean come on Niall, how could you forget Nando’s? But, with that aside I figured Kayla would want to come with me to see Alex.” Emily said. I honestly can’t believe I forgot about Nando’s, but Kayla and I were having so much fun. I saw Kayla’s face light up when Emily mentioned Alex. “Yes!” she said hoping of the stool in the kitchen and running to her room to get dressed. “And I just wanted some carrots” Louis said. “Do you have any?” he asked me. I opened my fridge and looked for a bag of carrots. Surprisingly, I had one. I threw the bag at him. He almost didn’t catch it. “Thanks Nialler” He said walking out the room. Kayla came back out and said “Let’s go see our best friend.” We all got up and walked down the hallway to Liam’s flat, where Alex was staying.

KAYLA’S PERSPECTIVE

We ran through the door and saw Alex sitting on the couch. “Hey!” Emily and I said. We ran over sat next to her and gave a huge sandwich hug. “Hey…guys…can’t…breathe” “Hey! Careful!” Liam said. “Don’t kill her!” Harry said. Emily and I let go and looked at Harry and Liam. They were both red and not looking anyone in the eye. “Awkward tension here” Emily whispered to me. Alex and I both giggled. “So…how are you?!” I asked. “Well, a little upset that you and Niall didn’t meet up with us at Nando’s yesterday, but other than that, great! I feel a lot better. Harry and Liam here have been taking good care of me” She smiled at them. They both smiled back at her. Harry winked and she blushed. Harry? I thought she liked Liam? “Well that’s good!” Emily said. “Maybe we can do something fun today before we leave tomorrow!” Emily continued. “Yeah sorry about missing Nando’s and yeah we should do something.” I said. Alex and Emily started to talk about what we could do and I looked over at the boys. Liam and Harry were in each other’s faces, whisper yelling. They were heated. Niall and Zayn were trying to calm Liam down and Louis was trying to calm Harry down. It wasn’t working. I walked over to Niall and said “Can you distract Alex for a sec?” He said “Yeah of course” He went over and started to talk to Alex. Alex said something and Niall blushed. “Em can I talk to you for a sec?” she nodded and got up. We walked over to the kitchen. “What’s going on with those two?” I nudged towards Harry and Liam. Emily shrugged. They won’t leave her side, both of them. “But what about Dani-” Emily shook her head. “Over…” “Just like that?” I asked. “Just like that” Emily snapped her fingers. How weird?
