Change of Plans (Niall Horan FanFic)

Part 13

We got out of the limo and ended up in a dark alley way. I looked at the girls and they looked confused as well. The limo driver looked at us and said "They need to buy a little more time. Another limo will be here shortly." He got in the limo and drove off. Eleanor looked mad and went off to call Louis. Alex just sighed and leaned againt the wall. Emily looked at her phone screen and light up. She walked off talking to someone. Eleanor came back and said "There's another limo on the way. The boys think this is funny." I rolled my eyes and Emily came back screaming. We all looked to see what was wrong. "Guess what guess what guess what?!" She yelled. "Calm down Em. What?" Alex said. She started to tell her story very fast and no one could keep up. I covered her mouth with my hand. "Slow down." She took a deep breath and started again. "Well the other night I was talking to my best friend Madison, about the boys, staying here, and how much I missed her. So, she decided to suprise me and hop on a plane here. She just got to her hotel. So, I told her to get dressed nice and to meet us with the boys. When I found out the adress and she'll come. She really wants to see you guys!" Emily was smiling so hard and we couldn't help but be happy for her. Just then, another limo pulled up and we were on our way.

"Okay close your eyes." Eleanor said. We all closed our eyes and linked our hands. El guided us towards and air conditioned building. We walked through different doors and hallways, then finally we stopped in a dark room. It was even dark for us having our eyes closed. It was eerily quiet. It was too quiet. "Open your eyes." El whispered. We opened our eyes and she turned on the lights. "Welcome to the family!" People jumped up from all corners of the room. The boys had snuck up behind us and wrapped us in hugs. "Welcome to the family Princess." Niall said turning me around and kissing my forehead.

"Hey. Is all this for us?" I smiled. He blushed and looked down. He grabbed my hands and looked into my eyes. "Well, it was all Louis' idea." Niall said. The boys led us off towards the middle of the big room and up onto the little stage that was there. Zayn, who had resumed his position as DJ Malik, cut off the music and Louis made an announcement. "Hello everyone. Massive thank you for coming out here tonight on such short notice, but we really wanted a proper welcome for these girls. They are the newest addition to the 1D family. And we couldn't be happier right boys?!" They all ad libed in agreement. "Well then! Let's get this party started!" Louis nodded towards Zayn, who started up the music again. Lou and El walked off and started to dance, Louis doing his 'Pat the dog. Screw the lightbulb', and El dying of laughter. Liam walked off with Alex to one of the tables in the corner. Emily was next to Zayn at the mixing tables dancing and talking. Niall took me over to the bar, got himself some beer and walked over to talk to his buddy, Josh.

"Hey Josh!" Niall said. "Hey mate" they hugged each other and Niall introduced me.

"So your the famous Kayla?" Josh said smiling shaking my hand. I nodded. "Well you are very pretty. Niall didn't leave out any detail." I felt myself blush and I could see Niall was. Emily and Harry came over shortly after. "Hey Em. Did you text Madison the adress?" She nodded with a smile on her face. "She should be here in a few minutes." "So Harry and girls you fancy?" Niall said. We all laughed and Harry shook his head. "No. Not yet." He winked. We all started talking and Alex and Liam came over. "Oh my gosh. I met Cher Lloyd!" Alex was fangirling. Em and I laughed. Alex started to tell us how she sang for Cher and how Cher told her she was great and should sing more often. Suddenly, Harry looked over towards the door and his mouth dropped open. "What's up mate?" Liam said and we all looked towards the direction he was looking. Emily immediately got up for her chair and screamed "Maddie!" She walked over towards her and they gave each other a big hug. "Who is that?" Harry said still in awe. Alex and I laughed. Emily had told us enough about Madison to know she would never like Harry. Sje doesn't have the patience for perverted idiots. Besides, Madison wasn't even a big fan of One Direction. "Don't even try Harry. She won't give you the time of day." Alex said. I could tell that piece of advice just blew over his head because he stared at her as she and Emily walked back over towards us.

"Guys this is my best friend Madison. I've known her since fifth grade." She said his to everyone starting with Alex and I and working her way over towards Harry. She smiled a bit more when she saw Niall and I admit I elt a ping of jealousy, but it quickly faded. When Madison got to Harry, he automatically started flirting. She rolled her eyes and shook his hand. "Come on. Lemme introduce you to Zayn." Emily said pointing towards the DJ booth. "It was really nice to meet you." Madison said to all of us. Her eyes stopped on Niall again and she smiled. He smiled back and I got jealous again. They walked off and Harry followed behind them.

"She seems really cool." Niall said and I rolled my eyes involuntarily. Alex raised her eyebrow at me questioningly and I just shook my head.

The song changed and I got up and grabbed Alex's hand so we could dance. Niall and Josh stayed at the bar.

Emily and Madison caught up with us a couple songs later. "I think we lost him." Madison said. Alex and I assumed they were talking about Harry. They both broke out laughing. "So how are you guys?" Emily asked us. "Great!" Alex said. I smiled and nodded. "Us too. We ran into Ed Sheeran and had a nice conversation." Madison nodded and said "Yeah he's really the only celebrity here that I like. I mean I have respect for everyone here, but they're just not my style of music." I nodded and said "Yeah. I get you." We were all dancing when Lou and El came over. "So is this the girl Harry fancies?" Lou said winking. Madison rolled her eyes and we all laughed. "I'm going to get some water." She walked off and Emiky followed her. Harry came over and said "Where'd they go?" I laughed and again Alex tried to get it through his head. "It's not gonna happen Hazza." He didn't listen and walked off.

After a couple more songs my feet started to hurt. Alex and I walked over towards where Niall and Liam were sitting. Emily was there and so was Madison. They were all laughing.

"Hey Princess." Niall said standing up so I could take his seat. Liam did the same for Alex. "Such gentlemen." Madison said. Liam and Niall smiled and nodded. I saw Madison gesture towards Niall and whisper something in Emily's ear. Em smiled and said "Yeah I know."

A few minutes later Zayn came over and said he was taking a break. Emily smiled mischievously and said "So you've come to dance." Zayn shook his head, but Emily grabbed his hand and led him out onto the dance floor. We all laughed cause we knew Zayn was insecure about his dancing, but he loosened up as he realized it was just fun dancing with his girl. "They are really cute." Madison said. "I've never seen her more happy." Alex sighed and I said "Yeah" El then came over and found us. "Let's dance" Alex and I got up, but Madison shook her head. "I'm not a big dancer. Maybe in a little bit." So we walked off and started to jam out to the music.

Throughout the night I kept glancing over towards Madison and Niall. They would talk and laugh a lot, but when I was with them, he'd still have his arm around me or my hand in his. You know maybe I'm blowing this all out proprtion. I do remember Emily saying that Madison thought Niall would be cool to hang out with out of the five boys. Maybe Madison just wants to be friends. She's not a bad girl. She's really sweet and funny. I'm sure that I'm just letting jealousy get the best of me.
