Y/N p.o.v

There he was....Dallon James Weekes on a cover of a rock magazine. Dallon was one of my very close friends in high school....I even developed deep feelings for him. I had fell in love with him, and I fell hard. Dallon and I had a promise that he said he'd never break, every since that day he left...that momment has been playing in my head so much.

Flashback...

"Dallon!" I yelled, running over to Dallon.

"Y/N! How are you?" He hugged me tightly.

"Good, but not so good because we have to study" I sat under the tree we two would usually chill out at.

"That's not that bad. We'll get it done quick so we'll have time to talk and maybe get something to eat" He got out his books and things he needed.

"I don't want to study yet"

"Why not" Dallon turned to me with that cute smile.

"I just don't.." I looked down at my shoes messing with the dirt.

"Y/N...is there something wrong" Dallon layed his head in my lap.

"No" I lied trying not to look at his pretty ocean blue eyes.

"Come on, you can tell me anything! We're best friends and always will be" He layed his hand on mine.

"I've been thinking a lot about somethings. You know.....your very talented Dallon, I mean you play bass so well and your voice is so good! I'm afraid your going to go off and leave me" I layed my head back against the tree.

"Look at me" He sat up beside me, getting in my face.

"Y/N I promise. I will never leave you because I love you with all my heart. You're my best friend and always will be!" Dallon kissed my cheek.

See, that was part of the problem, I wanted to be more than friends. Of course I loved him as a friend but there was way more than that. I could never develop enough courage to tell him...but I really wish I would have...

End of flashbsck...

"He didn't love me like I loved him" I felt small wet tears run down my cheeks.

"Y/N..." My friend came into your room.

"W-What are you doing he-here" I quickly wiped the tears and turned to face her.

"I wanted to check up on you. You haven't been talking to me since we went to that 'IDKHOW' concert" Anna sat beside me.

"Yeah I'm sorry. I've just...been going through a hard time" You thought about how happy Dallon looked on the stage. How he had no idea his past best friend was there, on the verge of tears. He didn't know...
