Brooklyn slowly opened his eyes feeling dizzy and light-headed. He blinked a couple of times adjusting the bright light before opening his eyes properly, and for his surprise; he was still on Room number six, Doctor Marley’s room.

He shook his head, confused as ever, it was all just a dream ? It looked more real than the reality itself. He thought about it for a brief moment and tears pooled on his eyes, it wasn’t just a dream, it was reality — it was his past, it was when he used to live with his family — not this dreaded place.

He was alone on the room, which didn’t really seem to take Brooklyn’s mind off of the bad dream.

Tears began to escape his eyes slowly as some flashbacks replied again and again on his mind — and that completely and utterly broke his heart, into a small of tiny pieces.

Brooklyn stood up, already wanting to leave this place as soon as possible, he didn’t want to be there anymore — he wanted to go to bed and stay there all day; crying his eyes out and trying to forget his past, trying to forget about his whole existence — about this cruel world.

With slowly and exhausting steps, Brooklyn walked to the disk, taking his shirt and putting it on again, and leaving afterwards to the punishment room.

When he finally arrived he went inside, only to make Caroline gasp when she saw him — A blonde boy, with exhausted now black eyes (from the lack of sleeping) tear-stained cheeks, bloodshot eyes, yet still beautiful, and tears flooding down them. He looked so exhausted — so tired.

“Brooklyn? Are you like, okay?” She asked hesitantly.

Brooklyn just nodded, wiping his tears afterwards and climbing in his bed, under the comfy sheets and already trying to do his plan — forgetting.

“Just some pain from the needles” Brooklyn mumbled against the pillow when Caroline asked again, but that didn’t made any sense for her — the needles’ pain only lasts for about ten minutes, so crying because of the pain that has already gone was impossible.
