When he reached the end, he vanished! I watched him, he disappeared in a puff of...cards? Clearly, he was weirder than I could have ever imagined. I wondered if I was dreaming or getting lost in my imagination again. Whatever it was, I needed to get home, mum was expecting me back about five minutes ago. I rushed back, but when I was in my street, everyone was on their knees crying, except Rascal...he was actually floating, a book was in his hand. I gasped, he must have heard me because he looked down at me, his eyes widened as he came down What the hell is happening?! I turned and started to run, it was useless however because suddenly Rascal appeared in front of me. I backed away slowly "What, what did you...what did you...DO?!" I half yelled in his face, he blinked, scratched his book then gave me a puzzled look. "What," I repeated, "Did you do?"

Rascal sighed and answered "It's uh, well I might as well be honest. I work for Emporer Nogo and-"

"Emperor Nogo?" I had no clue who he might be. Rascal sighed, came closer, leaned in and then yelled: "SHUT UP AND LET ME EXPLAIN!" I flinched away from him with my hands protecting my face. Rascal saw this and backed away "Sorry, I just..." He looked to the floor and took a deep breath "I work for Emperor Nogo and he wants me and his other 'workers' to collect negative energy from people using this book," he gestured to the book he was holding, absorbing black mist, "There's also this group of people called the Glitter For-" He was interrupted by five girls running towards him "STOP RIGHT THERE!" the shouted, they then flew up in the air and spent a while saying things and having their clothes magically change. Rascal leaned in and whispered, "We just have to wait for them to do their own thing..." I giggled and he continued explaining what was going on for a while, when they finally finished, Rascal held up a ball as strange shadows were sucked into it.

In front of me appeared a giant door! What happened after that was just a blur. Flashes of pink, orange, green, blue, yellow...all I know is the giant door disappeared, the 'Glitter Force' left and Rascal landed with a thump at my feet "Rascal!" I got onto my knees and gently shook him in the hope he'd wake up. I felt for a pulse, there was nothing. I didn't know him very well but I enjoyed his company and before I knew it, tears were rolling down my face. I hugged him "I c-can't b-breathe..." I gasped and released him, he sat up, gasping for breath. "You're alive?" I asked, disbelieving, he whispered a response "Yeah, it's happened loads..." I was so confused, he had no pulse...I grabbed his wrist, feeling once more. Again, nothing. He snatched his arm away. "If you're alive, why don't you have a pulse?" I asked, giving him a puzzled look. He cursed under his breath, "Um, you must of, uh, done it wrong or something..." he was fiddling with his fingers "Anyway, I have to go now. Bye" He vanished again.

When I got home, mum was standing at the door, arms crossed and foot tapping. "Where?" was all she said. I sighed, I knew I was in trouble, Rascal had made me swear not to tell anyone his story, not like mum would believe me anyway.

Next time

"Oh, uh, I just stayed around Lucy's for a bit." I crossed my fingers behind my back, hoping she'd believe my lie. "Don't stay that late without telling me again." She walked away and I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding in.

Authors Note-I had no idea what to make Buffoon so I just chose a door...
