"Let's work out what we can do from here on." I suggest.
"Orca's right. Let's work out what to do." Merchant declares.
With that everybody enters the Merchant's Wood treehouse.
"Anybody got any ideas?" Casey asks.
"I've got one." Eddis grins, eyes on Ryan. He shuts his eyes and smiles sweetly. "I suggest that we flee from here where people have been killed by those snakes and use Bradbury as bait if one snags a car."
"EHHHH!" Ryan gasps, eyes welling with tears. "MY FATHER WON'T ALLOW...this."
"You sound like a whiny brat." Merchant states. "Oh wait Bradbury IS a whiny brat. Anyway we would need to use you as bait; we don't have enough supplies if we can just get rid of you we should."
"Well thanks." Ryan folds his arms and pouts.
"Or we could just..." Beth is cut off by Tommy sneezing and knocking the radio over.
"The local Tesco along with the rest of Riverside Retail Park has been abandoned by staff in fear of their lives when an employee got sick and tried to bite a customer. He has since been quarentined." the reporter of Grays FM states.
"Well I say, let's go and get supplies from Tesco." Hilary states.
"And Decathalon has equipment too." Eddis adds.
"Why don't we divide and gather stuff from both places?" Beth suggests. "Half to Tesco, half to the other side of the retail park."
"Good idea Beth!" Noah grins.
"All in favour of the idea proposed by Elizabeth say aye." Merchant states.
"Aye." I say.
"Aye!" Noah enthuses.
"Aye!" Hilary nods.
"Aye!" Ryan exclaims, grateful Beth's plan doesn't include him being bait. Or at least she didn't SAY it involved him being bait.
"Aye." Tommy nods.
"Aye aye Cap'in Beth!" Harry pokes his tongue out.
"Aye." Casey chimes.
"Looks like the ayes have it, sorry Eddis." Merchant states.
"Whatever. Who will go where?" Eddis asks.
"THAT...is a very good question." Hilary nods.
"Beth?" I ask.
"Right, I will go to Decathalon, Tee', you go to Tesco." Beth states.
"What!" I gasp.
"Merchant, Eddis, Tommy, Noah are with me. You've got Harry, Hilary, Casey and Ryan." Beth picks.
"Well thanks Beth." I pout.
"Let's goooo!" she enthuses, getting up.
"Shall we come back here after?" Eddis asks.
"Nah, we should onstantly be on the move. Save us from getting hurt." Tom sighs, putting some stuff in his pockets. We get down from the treehouse and clamber into the cars.
"CRAP!" Casey shrieks as a clementine scented discoloured man staggers into view.
"Shit shit shit!" everybody begins to panic. I undo the lock of Hilary's box and grab a throwing star.
BANG!
"Eddis?" I cock a brow.
"Headshot!" he smirks.
