Song of the day :-

Lavender Bay by Trophy Eyes (Y'all really should check them out)

The crowd screamed and clapped as Bring Me The Horizon ended their first show of the tour. As always, Oliver felt chill running down his spine everytime he realized how big the crowd their band was playing for. It still amazed him, even after all these years.

After that, they all went to eat and rest for a while before they called it a night. Oliver was chilling on a sofa with Jordan and Lee, just talking about some random things until Jordan decided to make a video call.

"Hey, buddy! Still awake?" Jordan smiled while looking at his son.

Oliver waved at Elliott in the video call too and suddenly he remembered something.

"Oh shit where's Chelsea?"

Lee just gave him an "am i supposed to know where she is?" look. Damn how could he forget completely about her, Oliver thought.

He quickly got up and looked for her. He walked around the venue but he couldn't find her. Just where could she be. He stopped finding and sat at the bench outside of the venue to catch a breath.

Oliver regretted not asking for Medina's number before. He knew Chelsea was with Medina but he had no idea where they were.

"She'll be fine with Medina." Oliver said to convince himself.

He always talked to himself. That was one of the ways he did to cope when he was in trouble or something.

He sat outside a little bit longer, looking at the stars in the sky. He felt calm despite being in the middle of New York City. He got lost in some random thoughts until a cold wind blew, bringing him back to reality. He started feeling cold in just a t-shirt and a pair of ripped skinny jeans.

"Hey Oliver. Is that you?" He heard a familiar voice coming from the back.

Oliver immediately turned around and saw someone that he was been looking for.

"Medina! I was looking for you and Chelsea."

She smiled and went straight to sit beside Oliver.

"Yeah I thought you have forgotten about Chelsea. She's fine though I've sent her to sleep." She laughed, making Oliver laughed too.

"No, um well I did forget at first but I eventually remembered and didn't know where to find you or reach you-"

"So you just ended up hanging out here."

Oliver laughed again.

"Yea I guess...I'm sorry though for bothering you. And I should thank you for taking care of Chelsea today. I honestly don't know what to do if it weren't for you. I guess I still need time to adjust to this new life. It's all new to me, being a parent and shit." He said while his eyes were fixed at the family across the road.

Medina saw what he was looking at. She knew Oliver was trying his best. As one of Bmth's crew, she had seen how Oliver lived his life for the past years and of course, being a parent was the last thing she thought Oliver would do.

"Hey, it's okay. You are doing just fine. Take your time, you can't just master in parenting in a week, that's not how life works. Everyone gotta learn and if you need help on anything, just say the word. I will do my best to help. Just call me." Medina said while smiling at him.

Oliver felt grateful to hear that. Sometimes all you need is some reassurance from people, to know that you are doing just fine.

He looked at her. Damn how could someone look this beautiful? Her sincere smile, her brown eyes and her kind words made Oliver felt some sort of way. He felt happy and kind of grateful to have Medina by his side.

"Thank you, Medina. It means a lot to me. Speaking of that, may I have your number?"

"Oh sure!" Medina said as she took Oliver's phone and typed in her number. As she finished typing, Oliver's phone started ringing.

"Umm Nat..abitch?" Medina said handing the phone to him.

"Nah it's okay. Not important, just ignore." He said, taking the phone back from Medina and let it went to missed call.

He didn't feel like talking to Nat. At least not now when he was with Medina. He actually felt good at the moment and didn't want to ruin it.

They talked and laughed for some times until it was about 1 in the morning. Oliver learned that Medina used to do modelling as part time jobs until she decided to focus on her job as a lighting director. No wonder she looked like those typical models, Oliver thought.

"I've got to go, tomorrow is gonna be a long day. You should rest too." Medina said.

"Yeah. Good night, Med."

"Night, Oli."
