Just as Off the Hook performs, Jerry comes out and so does Blue and Orange. There was another octoling with them. She was pretty cute with that tan-ish skin. She has this orange-ish yellow eyes. You think this was their random since you didn't go with them.
"Who's the girl?" You asked pointing at her. Blue and Orange crossing their arms saying, "This is the random. And also, she doesn't leave groups like what you just did." Blue looks away with disappointment. Orange looks at Jerry.
"And also, this guy won't stop looking at her," She adds. This octoling girl looks like she's new.. Doesn't seem like you've ever seen her before.
Jerry shakes his head "Nuh uh! I'm not staring, I just never seen her around before that's all," he says looking away blushing.
"Uh huh... yeah never seen this chick ever," you reply. Come to think of it, there's been alot of octolings since the splatfest began.
"Anyway... dude, (Y/N), why didn't you come with us? We lost our game because of you!" Blue snapped. The octoling girl looks very startled. Seems like blue scared her.
Orange feels bad for her. "Alright that's enough! You're scaring the poor octoling.. Who cares if (Y/N) wasn't at turf war. Shut your complaining and lets go play some more turf war!" Orange yells at Blue.
Jerry replied, "Woah. That uhh... was savage of you." Octoling smiles a bit at him. She found that comment pretty funny.
You stepped back and said, "Well anyway I'll be on my way." Everyone looks at you. "Woah what, where are you going?" Blue responds. "I gotta go back to my apartment to get ready for uhh... I'm actually going to Off the Hook's place cause they said I can come over..."
"WHAT?!" Everyone yells out. You jumped from the screaming. "What the hell, man?" Blue complains.
"Ok look here me out." You said, "I wanted this for a long time. I can't let this chance go to waste since this is my moment. I know I sound selfish but you guys know I wanted this for a while now. This could be my chance with Pearl... I love her really much. I want her to feel the same way. Please..?"
Everyone looks at each other. Jerry sighs, "Look (Y/N), I know how you feel right now... and I understand. We all do." Blue and Orange nodded their heads in agreement. Jerry continues, "You're our friend. And we want what's best for our friend, y'know? And we can all respect that you can't keep your heart out of Pearl. But you now have your chance, so get out there and get that celebrity under your arms and make her yours!"
Blue interrupts, "Ok, that last sentence sounded creepy. He's not trying to kidnap her." Orange and the octoling girl giggles. Jerry replies, "That's not what I meant, you jacka-" "Woah woah chill," You spoke. "It's fine, dude."
"Anyway, let's get that out of our minds for now. I gotta go, see ya later guys." You waved at your friends while you walked back to where you met Pearl~.... and Marina.
You looked around and noticed that they're back on stage singing and Pearl, as always, rappin. You see a chair and sat down to watch them. It was their last song. You get a text from Blue.
Your SquidPhone:
Blue: Yo dude, I aint forget
our little match since you
left.
(Y/N):
Oh yeah? I didn't forget not one bit
How about we settle this
tomorrow? You can't beat me
even if you try lol.
Blue: Yeah right! I can totally
whip you. :3
End of conversation
You turn off your squidphone and continue to watch the performance. But then, all of a sudden, Pearl looks at you and winks. "What the hell?" You instantly turn red. Pearl runs to you and grabs your hand.
"Pearl?! What are you doing?" She replies, "You're going on stage with me and Marina, yo!" Your heart drops to your stomach. "What."
(A/N): Welp, it's done. Yeah pretty disappointing. It's so worth the wait. I'm being sarcastic.. look maybe I kinda forgot about the book but I'll try really freakin hard to remember about this. I wanna finish sometime soon but I know it won't happen. You see, I have laziness and school in my life. It's pretty complicated.
