Greer's POV:

I pull into the driveway of our new house and Mom and Dad pull up with the movers and my 17 year old brother, Trevor, about 15 minutes later. We go into the house and run to pick out our rooms.

I get the biggest one, whole basement to myself.

I put my stuff on the floor and go back upstairs to get some boxes. I grab 2 boxes with my name on them and take them down to my room. It takes 6 trips to get everything downstairs.

"Greer, hun?" Mom calls.

"Down here!" I holler.

She walks into my room and sits down on the ground with me.

"What's up momma?"

"Well, there's something I need to talk to you about."

"Go ahead."

"Well, my friend from college, she has a son who lives here but they're moving and he doesn't want to. So, he's gonna stay here for a while."

"Okay?"

"He's going to be staying down here in the next room over, I'm trusting you not to do anything stupid. Please just be good and nice to him. He's a real sweetheart and you've got an attitude, cool it while he's here."

"What?!"

"Please just be good. He's coming to visit tomorrow and moving in the day after."

"But mom!"

"No buts, we all have to get used to it."

She walks upstairs and I groan loudly. The fact that a teenage boy I don't know is going to be stay in the room next to mine, that really bugs me.

•••

Beck comes into my room while I'm getting ready.

We had finished getting everything into the house quickly yesterday. So we're all moved in.

Beck is wearing a blue dress and a black sweater. Her hair is curled neatly with a black bow in the back.

After I shower, I change into a purple sweater and a black pair of leggings. I let my hair dry and put it in a fishtail braid.

"Girls! Come upstairs!" Dad calls.

My sister drags me up the stairs, despite how much I disagree to all of this. She warns me to straighten up before Mom yells at me.

We walk into the front room together and there's a somewhat attractive teenage boy sitting on our couch.

His head turns to us and he smirks, eyes raking over my body. I scoff and try and leave but Beck holds me where I am.

I shoot her a glare and walk over to a chair. His head turning, following my every movement.

"Ah, I see you've met. Sweetheart, this is Jacob. Jacob, this is my daughter Greer and my other daughter Beck." Mom says.

"Cool." He grins.

"Beck, honey, come help me in the kitchen. Greer, show Jacob around the house."

Beck tries to hold back a laugh and I shoot a look at her. I get up quickly and walk around the house, Jacob following.

I make my way downstairs and sit on the couch down there. He sits next to me and puts his arm around my shoulder.

"I'm not your pet, what do you want?" I ask, flatly.

"Calm down sweetheart. Just relax." He smirks and leans in to kiss me.

I put my hand against his face and push him away.

"No thanks."

I get up and go into my room. Jacob chuckles and follows behind closely.

"I don't know what you want but you get out of my room now."

"It doesn't have to be like this." He says.

"When you act like a jerk, it does."

"Okay, look I'm sorry. I'll try and hit on you less." He grins.

"Whatever. The next room over is yours."

"I know, I moved my stuff in a few days ago."

"Well you have fun with that." I mumble. He rolls his eyes and walks back upstairs.

As soon as he's out of earshot, I pick up my phone and dial Macy, my best friend since we were 3.

"Hey girl!" She answers.

"Hola chica."

"What's up?"

"Well, we moved again and this time a teenage boy is staying with us."

"No way! What's his name?"

"Jacob Whitesides or something. He's our age."

"You're freaking living with Jacob Whitesides?"

"Yeah?"

"He's YouTube famous. He's got an amazing voice and not to mention he's super hot!"

"Eh, he's alright."

"I'm alright?" Jacob says from the doorway.

I roll over to look at him at him and end up falling off my bed.

"Careful darling." He chuckles, helping me up.

"Wait he's with you now?!" Macy screams from the phone.

"Yeah, I'm here." He smiles.

Macy squeals and Jacob laughs lightly. He puts the phone on speaker and sits on my bed.

"Hi!" Macy says, happily.

"Hey lovely." I know he's smirking and I'm not even looking at him.

They have a 30 minute long conversation and she finally says goodbye.

"She's sweet." He says, looking happy.

"She is." I grin.

"Macy... Can I meet her one day?"

"Only if you don't flirt with her."

"No promises." I laugh a bit and sit at my desk.

I get on Twitter and my notifications are blowing up. Jacob had follwed me. I turn and glare at him and he just smirks and laughs.

He's laying on my bed, propped up on his elbow, wearing black skinny jeans, a white t-shirt and Vans.

"Like what you see, hun?" He says cockily.

"Not really." I smile.

"Whatever." He rolls his eyes.

***

It's 3:00am and Jacob is sitting on a bean bag in my bedroom, watching Supernatural with me. We're currently throwing popcorn at each other, trying to catch it in our mouths.

"Ha! You missed!" He yells at me.

"Whatever!" I grab 4 pieces of popcorn and throw them, he missed all four. "Ha! You missed!" I mock.

He glares and eats some Pop Rocks.

"I want pizza." He says.

"Alright, let's go. Get some cash." He gives me a funny look as I stand up and go to my closet.

"Are you serious?"

"Yeah. Get dressed and come on." He hops up and goes into his room to change.

I put on a pair of comic book leggings, a blue tank top and I throw my hair in a messy bun.

Jacob comes in wearing red basketball shorts and a black t-shirt. He sat on my bed and put his black Vans on and I put on my combat boots. He slips on a black hoodie and I put on my leather jacket.

I write a note for my mom letting her know where I am and when I'll be back. I grab Jacob's hand and pull him out the front door.
