A World of Symbiote

Chapter 2: Riot

A week after Anti-Venom and I made our presence known to the city, thousands of civilians had started protesting on if Anti-Venom was a hero or just another symbiote out for blood. Everyday I look at the news and I see people with posters saying "Anti-Venom = Anti-Hero" and other signs from other civilians said "All Symbiotes are All alike...Evil." But to be completely honest... We didn't care.

"A well display of our presence." Anti-Venom said.

"Yea I know. But is it enough?"

"For now, let's see where this fued takes the people of the city. Sooner or later the Symbiotes will notice us."

After he said that, I heard a knock on my door

"Hide!" I said quietly

Anti-Venom had turned into a white backpack with black stripes. As i was going towards the door. I opened the door and it was Adam.

"Adam, what's up?" I said.

"Have you seen the news?"

"Umm....No not recently."

When I said that, I tried to make a straight face so that he wouldn't know that I was lying.

"Look." He said.

"What is it?"

"The new Symbiote had found a host and took a teenagers common Symbiote and saved this Girl's life."

"Really? What's it's name."

"We were going to give it a codename but it decided to call itself "Anti-Venom."

When Adam said that, I could hear Anti-Venom behind me giggling.

"What?" Adam said.

"Umm... Nothing I just think that it's funny that it named itself the opposite of Venom."

"Yea well he is more dangerous than Venom. He has tendrils that absorbs power of any kind. According to his victim. Anyways, how did the test go?"

"Oh I failed again sadly. You know what, I just want to live a normal life as a civilian."

"What really?"

"Yea I just think that if I keep failing the feild test then maybe fate decides that being a Spider-Man isn't ment for me."

"Oh, well if you need any help and you change your mind about that. You know where to find me."

"Sure, yea Adam thank you for trying."

"Anytime. Oh, are you going towards the city by any chance this week?"

"No not really why?"

"Maybe its best if you stay home for a while in case you run into this "Anti-Venom" just in case."

"Yea sure no problem."

"Okay good, I got to go. Miguel O'hara called a meeting for all spiders."

"Yea i totally understand good luck."

When Adam closed the door I asked Anti-Venom

"You want to go into the city again tonight?"

"Of course."

By nightfall we did what we always do ever since our first night hunting. We hunt down Symbiotes and save humans if possible.

We seen a Symbiote matching Riot's Symbiote.

"There is a Symbiote that matches Riot." Anti-Venom said.

"Meaning what?"

"Riot was one of the Symbiotes that created Hybrid."
