A World of Symbiote

Chapter 3: Toxin Part 1

Toxin. The one that every Symbiote feared the most before there was Carnage. He was also the most deadliest and strongest of the Symbiotes. He was once called "The Son of Carnage." He was also our next target. Anti-Venom, Phage, and I were searching for him for weeks and we also had one more problem we were marked as an enemy to The League of Spiders and The Symbiotes. The Symbiotes were aware of our "Encounter" with Riot. Miguel O'hara had ordered the League to do their best to take us down. Adam still didn't know that me or Emily were Symbiotes. I still don't know why she would want to help us. One day when we were resting Emily had arrived and Anti-Venom wanted to talk. He had said.

"It is time to make a choice. We either decide that this Adam, is either our ally or our enemy."

"I can't tell him that we are Anti-Venom. Not now. Not when we are the top ten enemies of The League. Its a bad time to do so."

"IT IS THE PERFECT TIME!!"

When Anti-Venom raised his voice, I got up and gave him a deadly look. I had told him.

"The only reason that your not dead, is because I took you in my home."

"Forgive me, I had grown inpatient. Our hunger situation is not well planned. We need to eat more than for only one night."

"If we go out during the day then we have a better chance of getting caught."

Anti-Venom looked towards Emily.

"Phage, could you hunt?" he said.

"I've been hunting since the day I became Phage."

"Bring us some food, I'd hate to see Anti-Venom starving." I said.

"Sure."

Emily left the house and then Anti-Venom looked towards me.

"Now, what are we going to do about Adam?" He asked.

"I'll tell him the next time he comes here."

When i said that i heard a knock on the door and there was a voice.

"Hey Jose It's me Adam open the door quickly!"

When he said that Anti-Venom looked towards me and my face had a look of shock. I was panicking because i had no idea how to say that I am Anti-Venom. I was walking back and forth whispering.

"Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck! what do i say! Anti-Venom? Hello? Oh fine leave everything to me!"

Adam was still at the door.

"Jose?"

"Hang on!"

I had finally opened the door.

"Hey what's up Adam?" I said with an extremely weird face.

"Are you okay?"

"Hmm...yea umm.. Yea we're fine. I-I-I I'm fine."

"Can I come in?"

"Umm yea sure come in."

All I thought was a way to tell him what I did.

"Adam..." I said.

"Jose Anti-Venom had killed Riot, we found his body out in the desert outside the city and the first witness that he apparently saved has gone missing."

"Adam I-"

"O'hara is about to get furious if we don't find him and take him down soon and who knows what could happen nex-"

"Adam it's me!" I said before he could finish his sentence.

"What?"

"It's me I am Anti-Venom!"

"Jose how can you be Anti-Venom? You wanted to be a Spider-Man."

"I found the Symbiote before you did, alright! I took it to my home! And we evolved into Anti-Venom! And Emily, the witness came to my home and wanted to help me and Anti-Venom to become Hybrid so that we could end this war without killing the Spider-Men. Including you and O'hara."

Adam had to take a second to take it all in.

"Wow!" he said as he laughs a little bit.
"One day you couldn't run for at least 20 min and the other, you're out there in the city saving lives and stopping Symbiotes your own way."

I had a look of surprise towards him.

"So you're not going to tell the League?"

"Tell the League?!?  No! You're your own hero and many other people thinks so as well."

"Thank you man."

"No problem. I just want to ask one thing. Can I see him?"

"Umm yea sure, Anti-Venom!"

Anti-Venom had popped up off of my shoulder.

"So you are Adam then, yes?"

"Yea it's cool to actually meet you."

After Adam and Anti-Venom had gotten acquainted we had told them of our plan. We told him why we hunt the Symbiotes, Why we killed Riot, and why we wanted to become Hybrid. We also told him on how our next target MUST be Toxin. After a full day of talking between Anti-Venom, Phage, Adam, and I. Adam had gotten up from his seat.

"Alright." he said. "I'll help you find Toxin, but there is no guarantee on me helping you fight him."

"Deal." I said to him.

When we shook hands Adam had gotten a call from O'hara himself.

"Put it on speaker." I said.

He answered the call and Miguel had started talking as if he was looking for Adam for Hours.

"Adam, where have you been? There are Symbiote sightings everywhere!" he said

"O'hara something had came up I'm sorry for not telling you sooner." Adam said.

"We need you to do overtime tomorrow for a citywide search. Do you know where the Anti-Venom is?"

Adam had looked at us for a second.

"No" he said. "I don't know where he is or where he could be. I'll do overtime tomorrow."

"See you soon Adam." Miguel said before he hung up.

"Okay."  Adam said to me. "I'll let you know the second I see Toxin on the radar but you have to be where I say when I say it. Toxin is known to move faster than the other Symbiotes."

"Thanks Adam." I said

"I have to go, a word of warning, like O'hara said there will be a citywide search so if any of the other spiders seen you I can't help as much as you think."

So now that we have a man on the inside of the League's of Spiders, our job had just gotten much more easier, now with two Symbiotes and a Spider-Man searching for other Symbiotes, Hybrid may be more easier to create. All we need to worry about is how we could fight Toxin without causing collateral damage. Civilians will be in danger. All we could do for that part, is Prey.
