it's been a few days since taehyung and jimin had finally managed to get a hold of kunpimook. taehyung believed with his whole heart that kunpimook didn't do it, along with the other people he interviewed too.

the two boys were currently messily laying on taehyung's bed, as some drama played. it was the weekend and they had worked hard the whole week, it was best for them to just rest.

jimin was surprised when he heard a special ding from his phone, signaling that taehyung had texted him.

taetae💘: face me, i miss my boyfriends face

jimin just sighed before rolling over.

taehyung reached his hands out, cupping jimin's chubby face. as jimin frowned from the action, taehyung smiled.

"oh, tae, i don't deserve you," jimin scrunched up his nose, sticking out his tongue.

"you deserve someone better," taehyung mouthed before giving jimin a peck on the lips.

the room fled with silence. but it was comfortable silence, so that's okay. it was almost like the two were having a staring contest, both planning on winning. they found each other irresistible, taehyung didn't know where it had come from. he was never like that when he was younger, but i guess people mature.

taehyung couldn't help but smile wider while staring at jimin, his first boyfriend and definitely his last. he never wanted to be in a relationship in the first place, but here he is, with the most precious and special boy in his heart.

jimin frowned as taehyung continued to smile, "i'm ugly, stop looking at me." as jimin's frown turned more aggressive, taehyung froze, a blank expression spread across his face.

the expression, it looked so familiar.

it clicked.

taehyung tried yelling, "it was you!" but nothing had come out. he pushed jimin off of the bed, roughly, beginning to cry.

"t-taehyung? what are you t-talking about?" jimin had gotten extremely nervous, due to the younger's sudden outburst.

taetae💘: you shot me

after jimin had read that, taehyung attempted racing out of the room, only to fall at the doorway.

jimin was shocked, but he had to do something. he couldn't let his boyfriend run away. he grabbed taehyung around the waist, dragging him to the bed, placing him on top. taehyung was still crying.

"babe, please listen," jimin rubbed his small hand against taehyung's back, as the younger pushed and kicked jimin away.

"i could never hurt you, even if it meant the whole world would end. i couldn't live without you, tae, you are my world," taehyung grew weak to the boy's words and stopped fighting against him. as jimin hugged taehyung into his arms, the larger boy bawled harder, soaking jimin's shirt. taehyung wanted to trust jimin, but he can't. he knows it's him, who else could it be?

taetae💘: don't lie to me, jimin

taehyung sniffled, pushing jimin away.

taetae💘: you were trying to get revenge this whole time. i fell in love with a murderer

"t-taehyung," jimin cried out. "i'm not a murderer! h-how could you ever think t-that?" jimin bawled even more. he couldn't stand his boyfriend thinking he murdered him.

"i was on the fucking phone with you when you had gotten shot! when they took your lifeless body to the ambulance, i was outside of your house wanting to hug and kiss you then and there. but that's not what i wanted most... i wanted to wake up, this all being just a horrible dream. a dream that would never come true. i'm still hoping i'll wake up."

taehyung began to sniffle again, wanting to run into namjoon's arms for protection. what if jimin kills him right now?

there was no way it couldn't be jimin. that man looked exactly like jimin. the eyes, the body shape, his nose, his voice.

taetae💘: well if it wasn't you, who was it?
