Seulgi's POV
I'm sorry. I'll just take you home. And just like earlier, it was silent. Only her small sobs invaded the car. Irene, please don't be like this.
I don't want to go home.
But Irene, look at you. You're...
No, Seulgi! You look at me. When our eyes met, she looked away but looked back at me right away. Stop the car.
What? No!
Kang Seulgi, stop the goddamned car! Even without looking at her eyes, I could tell how much authority she wanted to show just by listening to her voice.
And so, I did what she said.
Look at me. Should I? Look, Kang Seulgi.
And again, I did what she told me.
Now tell me. Did I do something wrong?
Irene, don't look at me like that. You're only reminding me how I adore those eyes. How I long for your voice. Stop making me feel this way. Please.
She smirked. Irene, please. She then sighed. You really changed, didn't you? How did we end up like this, Seulgi? Don't you care about the endearments we used to call each other? Don't you care about the bonds we used to have?
Irene, please stop.
And again, her eyes were glittering with tears: Don't you care about me?
Irene, don't say that.
How? Tell me.
Can you please stop!?
She was startled with the sudden rise of voice. Sorry.
She then smiled with such bitterness: It's because of her, isn't it?
Yes, it's because of you.
You learned to ignore me because of her. You have come to know how to ignore everything about me. It's because of that girl.
But that's not true.
You know what? She wiped her tears as she removed her seatbelt. I should stop bothering you from now on. In that case, you won't have to waste your time ignoring me.
She opened the door and got out. She smiled for the last time and said, "I wish you all the best. Good luck with your girl."
I wanted to go after her and tell her she's the best for me but it wasn't for me to say.

Irene's POV
You're such a coward, Seulgi! You can't even tell me the truth! If you don't want me in your life, you can just tell me. You don't need to act cold and stupid! And wow! It seems that the heavens are trying to console with my goddamned feelings, huh? How lucky am I that it's started raining and I don't have an umbrella with me?
I'm so stupid for not thinking about the time when you won't let me ride your shitty car anymore, you know that? Stupid Kang!
It stopped raning already? Look at the rain. *smirk* It's just like you, Seulgi. It fades away the moment I've finally embraced it.
Let me walk you home, then.
S-seulgi?
He was smiling but his eyes---they were telling me something that I couldn't predict.
