Anything But Ordinary

Chapter 6

 Lacrosse seemed fun at first until I saw all who was trying out and also who was the captain. Now I know why Stiles was so happy when he found out we were captains. His friend Scott was captain and that Japanese girl and scarf boy who I guessed to Issac was also on the team great. "Boys and Kira these are our new tryouts Lunar and Nik Grimm" Coach said to the rest of the team as me and Nik came walking up to them in our lacrosse gear which consisted of white and red shorts, a black tank tops, running shoes and lacrosse sticks. People looked at us, some I even reconized from classes I had eariler today.  Nik waved as he walked up but I just kinda looked at everyone sizing them up. When it came to lacrosse me and Nik take it very seriously. Nik only waves to them to seem friendly to fake them out but when we get on the field its like we are totally different people than we were. Yeah we are good when we are alone but what makes us captains is we come as a pair. We like to think of ourselves as a tag team duo. Coach smiled and motioned everyone to circle around him. "Today is gonna be a good day for your kids. All postions are opened that even means co-captain and captain." He said to us and than looked at Scott and Stiles for that last part. Probably because they were the captains. I smirked as I laughed in my head. This was so gonna be fun.

 "Ok lets see what you new kids got. Scott! Stiles! You two gang up on Nik and Lunar." Coach shouted. "Got it coach" Scott said back as they got their helmets on. Me and nik looked at each other and nodded before slipping on our helmets also. One goalie and Two defenders. Easy as stealing candy from a baby. Nik was on left while I stood on right. "Ready when you are Lune " Nik said under his breath making sure they couldnt hear but  when I looked up that Scott kid looked like he just heard him but I shook it off as nothing before sprinting right up to him. Nik had the ball so he started running after I did. Scott smirked thinking I made a mistake going after him but that that smirk went away when I jumped and fliped over him catching the ball my brother just threw. I giggled a little when I knew I stunned them all when I threw the ball right into the net before I even landed. I ran to Nik and high fived him before I turned around and saw eveyone amazed. A freshman lacrosse player went up to Scott and looked over at us before asking something I couldn't hear but what Scott said I couldn't forget " We don't know yet Liam but we are gonna find out" Great they have another one to keep watch on me. But for what I didn't know and frankly I was wanting to find out. "Well that was amazing!" Coach said with excitement rushing through his voice. " I think we already found some captains!"

 The rest of practice was easy, all we had to do was go against goalie and run around making sure we could keep up with everyone else. By the end of practice Coach announced that me and Scott were going to be the new Captains for the team. I was sad when Nik didn't make captain " Its fine sis. Im glad you got it and besides we still get to play together" Nik said to me as we walked to his Motorcycle. "I know but its better if you were. Your just as good as me and that Scott" I said pouting but then smiled when we hopped on and rode home.
