My Almost Love Story

It's been a year since I talked to Idris last,.I think about him everyday and I wonder when I'm going to see him again. A few more months go by its March of 2018 now.  It's the 28th and my friend best friend is staying over and we talked about him all night.  It's the 29th and I get a phone call from him I was so excited I cried.  He asked what I'm doing and he domes down to see us.  We walked around for a while and sit at the baseball feild.  We take pictures, we talk, we stair at each other.  It was perfect.  He asked me if I wanna be his girl. I know your  probably thinking, wow, really, it took that long. I know I'm thinking, the same thing, it's crazy, right? Not to answer him, so I don't , but soon its time for him to leave  so me and my best friend walk him over to the school where his mom will be picking him up and he picks me up and puts me on the side of the school, and he kisses me, he kisses me our first actual kiss in front of everybody. Aka the road than I was on, but it was magical, so his mom gets there, and he formally introduces us and says, mom, this is my friend was so heart broke but later that night, he text me instead, so do you want to be my girl? And I said, no, because he introduced me to his mom as a friend. If you really thought, I said, no, I got ya, of course, I said, yes, March twenty nine two thousand and eighteen, it took 8 years, and may I say, 8 long years, I can't believe it really happened, finally, the man of my dreams is my boyfriend, how do y'all feel about that one? So now today, it's August, 31st. And I'm happy I couldn't be happier. We've been together for 5 months, and it's great, I couldn't ask for anything better. I've waited for this my whole life, and I got it, I wouldn't want anything more, I don't want anything more, and I hope this last after this, I am done with relationships, but I'll keep you guys updated.
