"Was I tripping or did I see like three signs with my name on them out there?" I asked Lawrence as I stepped back stage after my performance.

I could hear the crowd still going crazy.

"Yeah, and even one that said 'Aubriah for Life'" Lawrence said with an eye roll. "I don't know how kids come up with these couple names." he said shaking his head.

It was working, I actually had fans now.

"Hotel and shower, they'll need you in hair and makeup for that video shoot tonight and no telling how long that's going to take so get a head start before the show ends." He said walking away.

Oh right. The music video I was supposed to be practicing my sexy for. No one had even let me know what I'd be doing. Dancing? Sexy poses? Twirling around a stripper pole? Either one of those and I was simply screwed.

Outside of the venue I stood waiting for my Uber, scrolling aimlessly on my phone when a group of girls approached me, calling my name.

"Moriah James!"

I looked at them slightly taken aback.

"Can we take a photo with you?" They asked with their phones out.

"Me?" I asked, shocked.

"Yes!" They exclaimed.

At first it was just the group of four girls, we all took selfies together on their phones, followed by a couple of the girls demanding one of their friends to take a front facing photo for them. Then it seemed as though a bunch of other people began crowding around me in droves, asking me questions and requesting photos, to the point where I was getting a bit overwhelmed.

"Back up! Now!" A loud booming voice came over the crowd and everyone began to immediately back up a few inches.

A large older man with "Security" across his chest came pushing through the crowd.

"Your car is ready Ms. James." He said escorting me past my Uber and into one of the black SUV's Lawrence picked me up in.

Thank god.

"It's time to hire a security guard ma'am." He said escorting me into the vehicle.

"Yeah. I'll do that." I said trying to absorb everything.

"Have a good night Ms. James." he said.

He closed the door and the car sped off to the hotel.

Two hours later and I was in the makeup chair at the video shoot which took place at a very large condo in Brooklyn. It was busy and full of people, lights, and cameras. The crew was busy setting up the scene. Judging by the amount of red solo cups around, the beer pong table, and the extras dressed super casual I was guessing it was to be a house party scene.

"Scripts!" A man yelled out.

I cut my eyes to get a better view while trying to keep my head still as the makeup artist rapidly pressed foundation into my face with a sponge. The director was passing out sheets of paper to everyone.

"Yeah." the makeup artist laughed. "They don't give anyone the scripts until the day of so everything stays a secret." she said.

"That makes sense." I said.

"Yep, and they take all of our phones." She shook her head.

I realized no one even asked for my phone at that moment, which kind of made me feel a bit special.
