Siyeon woke, but she had no sense of where she was and could only feel that the floor was cold and she was in a small room of some sort. She reached out cautiously and her hand came into contact with a rough metal bar and then a row of several of the same bars until her hand met an equally cold wall.

She was confined in some sort of cell. Her heart rate rose and she fought to calm herself. What had led to these circumstances?

Siyeon tried hard to think hard - Somewhere along the way, she'd been unconscious. There was no memory in her mind of time after someone had picked her up over his shoulder. Then she remembered SuA and her cries, the pain she'd heard in her voice that had distressed her greatly.

SuA had been hurt, and for her as well. Guilt fired up inside her and she leaned against the wall.

Footsteps announced themselves and she instantly sat herself up and crossed her legs. The steps came closer and stopped near-by.

"Siyeon?" Was it SuA's voice? It sounded familiar, but Siyeon remembered SuA had been in pain, how was she speaking so calmly now? "Siyeon?"

"Are you hurt? I heard you scream." Siyeon reached through the bars and cool hand guided hers to their face. She let herself stroke slowly up and down their cheek, trying to familiarise herself.

"I am." The woman chuckled softly. "But don't worry. I'm okay."

Her hand came across a long cut across the woman's cheek. "Is this where you were hurt?"

"Yes, Siyeon." She replied patiently in the same soft tone. It must be SuA. The people chasing her wouldn't speak so kindly, they all wanted to hurt her. "My side also hurts a little bit. But I'm okay."

"Thank goodness." Siyeon smiled, but she couldn't completely relax. She had the feeling that SuA wanted to ask something.

"But I want to ask you something--"

"Don't you say a word about the powers thing again!" Siyeon drew back from her fearfully. "Why am I behind bars?"

"Don't worry about the bars, Siyeon." Her hand stroked Siyeon's head in repetitive strokes. "I want to protect you from the bad people. But the powers..."

"Shut up about the powers!" She pulled back from her hand violently and covered her ears to stop hearing the same word again - 'Powers'.

"Why won't you tell me about them?" Her voice demanded angrily in a sudden change of tone. "Tell me about them. Tell me what your powers are. Tell me how you use them. Tell me--"

"Shut up!" Siyeon cried ferociously as something snapped in her mind.

In the next second, she heard the bars crack and land heavily on the floor with infinite deafening clatters until they rolled to a stop.

"That's what I wanted. Thanks, Siyeon." There was a smile in her voice as she gripped Siyeon's forearm in a tight grip.

"Get off me!" She was suddenly panicked again and her mind struck out again. SuA grunted in pain, but kept her grip on Siyeon as a cold needle penetrated the soft skin of her forearm and a cool liquid flowed into her bloodstream.

"When you wake up, it'll be different, I promise." The voice lulled her into sleep once more.

"The foolish girl." Yoohyeon grinned uncontrollably once Siyeon had collapsed back onto the ground and lay still. "I can't believe she really thought I was that damn bitch SuA!"

She laughed once more and kicked the broken bars, which looked as if they had been physically forced and broken by some powerful external power. Yoohyeon wiped the blood that seeped out of her nose from the second use of Siyeon's powers. She had powers alright.
