Clutching her still bleeding hands together, BD leaned forward in her seat. She had been trying to drown out the growing conflict in her head since she had sat down. As she attempted to refocus she tried checking the time, only to groan as the hands changed position seemingly much faster than they should. Everything was sharp and jagged in her vision, either much to pronounced or to bright or just plain aggravating. To her it was as if her surroundings were banding together in an attempt to make her remaining time here even more difficult to endure. She was so caught up in trying to focus on anything at all she nearly jumped from her seat when she felt a light hand on her back. Whipping around in near panic she began to calm down after seeing that it was just her pearl.
"My diamond, are you alright?" Pearl asked this in a much quieter tone than she usually used, her pale violet eyes narrowed in slight concern. She wasn't alright, but knowing she would be momentarily made it easier to tell pearl that she was. "I'm fine p, I just did a little to much at once. Besides, the 'my diamond' thing is getting a tad bit redundant." Waving her hand nonchalantly she paused once she realized the error she'd committed. Mentally kicking herself, she prepared for the scolding she expected to receive for letting her wounds go untreated. Instead she was surprised as pearl only winced and began moving closer, dragging her allotted chair with her. Setting it down beside her diamond she sat back down. Having watched this BD was slightly confused, mostly due to the fact that the rather mother hen like pearl she knew seemed more subdued than usual. Wincing as pearl began dressing her wounds with bandages she had summoned from her gem, BD managed to get a hold of the small opaque container she had managed to smuggle in.
Without even looking up from her task, pearl simply stated;"That doesn't seem like the best idea, my diamond." "Oh c'mon, it's just water.""And what else is in the water?""...oxygen.""And what else?"She asked, already knowing the answer. Sighing rather loudly BD simply replied "vodka."before putting the flask back into the annoyingly small pocket of the jeans she had borrowed. If she had remembered the makeshift flask earlier it would have already been downed, and at least then everything wouldn't seem so very sharp. Resigning herself to her fate, she gave pearl her other hand and let the now trussed up appendage rest on her thigh. Now more able to focus she looked at the clock again, only to grimace at the time. She and Gaster had arrived sometime around 3:30, but the clock now read 10:13. That was far too long for any meeting, let alone one that should have concluded ages ago. Now she realized why everything and everyone seemed so tense. They had been sitting for roughly six hours. Unwilling to sit still any longer BD waited for pearl to finish before standing up and walking to the door. Unlocking it beforehand she then sent a group text to pretty much everyone who had come.
BD: Aight, this things taking too long, who wants to leave
Listening as a unanimous buzz sounded from her group's phones, she moved away from the door as quietly as possible before a pretty much unanimous reply of yes lets leave flooded her phone, causing it to buzz like an angry hornet. Taking her seat for what she planned to be the final time she sent a single group text before enacting her plan.
BD: alrighty then, follow my lead and try not to kill anybody
Satisfied she tapped Brenda on the shoulder. The poor woman already seemed a bit frazzled after the previous debacle, and BD figured she wouldn't want to be here when the figurative war was raged.
"Hey, we still good on that Starbucks deal?" BD asked, testing the waters. After a moment of confusion Brenda managed to reply. "Of course we're still on. Did you think I'd pass up free Starbucks?""No, but you seemed a tad frazzled.""...I'm sorry, a tad frazzled?""Yeah, a tad frazzled. You seemed a bit off put. You know what just take my number, you can call me and set up the time for our exchange.""Alright then, I guess its a date. But why are you giving me your number now? Why not wait a bit?" Contemplating the best response, BD decided on just cutting straight to the point. "Ok listen, I'm about to make some shit go down. It may end very badly considering who I have to work with. I figured I'd let you know so that you can get out before you get caught in the crossfire." Brenda seemed a bit startled by this, but the surprise quickly turned into amusement. "Well good luck to you then. Guess I'll see you at Starbucks later, oh and bring your friends they seem fun." Waving as she left Brenda shut the doors behind her. They clicked as the inner mechanisms locked back into place. It was a real shame, all these people trapped in a classroom with no windows and plenty of sharp objects. Baring her sharpened teeth in a sort of grim smile she cracked her knuckles in preparation. She doubted it would take too long, after all, it was her turn to make dinner.
