Gaster had no clue why he was there. Sitting in the dingy, dimly lit classroom surrounded by soccer moms, he really had no reason to be there. Deciding to leave, he made an attempt to stand before his center of gravity abruptly shifted and he was forced back into his chair. Clutching his coffee mug in order to avoid a spill, he begrudgingly settled back down and began eying the tall woman to his right. Even sitting hunched over, she was taller than almost everyone in the room. They had to sit in the back so she wouldn't block anyone's view. With outrageously fluffy black hair that reached down to her knees and a slightly muscular build, she was extremely intimidating even when she wasn't staring you down with eyes that seemed to look right through you in mock annoyance. These eyes were fixed on Gaster, and if he wasn't used to it he would have been terrified. He was only a little intimidated. BD, as she was known by pretty much everyone, wasn't human, although she looked pretty much exactly like one except for her eyes. And of course the large gemstone embedded in her abdomen, but hey it was hardly noticeable. Growing slightly more annoyed with the entirety of the situation, be turned to her and began whispering his annoyance. "Why am I here again?"he muttered. "All of my children are too old for school, or at the very least too old for middle school." "I'm a part of the pta here." "Why?" "Steven was thinking of going here, and so was Frisk, so I figured I'd get a head start on things." Smiling to herself at the thought of the children she had more or less adopted despite the fact that they already had caretakers, she turned back to him and said one final sentence before the meeting started. "I thought it would be more fun with a sarcastic skeleton to back me up if things go south." Confused as to what could go south in a room full of middle-aged women, he started to voice this thought before a loud and high pitched voice cut him off. "Hello everyone! Welcome to the weekly PTA meeting! And a special welcome to the new couple in the back, my name is Linda Arschloch! Would you two mind introducing yourselves?" Barely able to contain the laughter at being mistaken for a couple and the woman's hilarious surname, the two barely managed to stand up and attempt to introduce themselves. Managing to reign in her silent laughter before Gaster, BD introduced them both. "Hello, I guess I'll introduce us. My name is BD, or at least that's what everyone calls me, and this is Gaster. Contrary to popular belief, we aren't a couple. I'm here for some kids I know who might be planning to go here at some point." "Yeah, I'm Gaster, nice to meet you." Finally able to speak again after laughing so hard, he gave a small wave to the group of soccer moms. Now standing, he was able to take a better look at the group in front of him. Pretty much all of them were soccer mom looking chicks, but he saw a few monsters. A short female bunny monster and male dog. Suddenly one of the closer women gasped. She stared almost horrified at his hand. "Is there something on my hand?"he questioned, gesturing with his other hand. Taking off the heavy sunglasses he had borrowed from Garnet he tried to get a better look at his own skeletal appendage, only to be met with an assembly of gasps and one quiet yelp from literally every person except the two monsters. "What, is there something on my face?" Responding quickly, and with more contempt than previously, Linda responded. "I'm so sorry, of course you two couldn't be together, we didn't realize you were a monster." She spit out the last word like it was bitter, which made him tense up slightly in annoyance. He was about to respond with a snarky comment before he was cut off by a hand on his chest. "I'm sorry, but what do you mean? I'm afraid I don't understand." BD stated this as if it was an innocent everyday question. "Well, no human could be with a monster-" "No, you seem to have misunderstood me. I don't really want an explanation, I'm giving you a chance to take back that comment. Try again." Her voice was calm but her eyes were furious, and even Linda wasn't stupid enough to push it. "L-let's just get on with the meeting. First on the list, the lunch situation." BD sat back down, seemingly pleased with Linda's reaction. Pulling out her phone while Linda scribbled on the whiteboard, she texted a few people before turning to the skeleton beside her once again. "I called in backup. This should be fun." Leaning back in his chair and taking a very long swig from his coffee mug and sighed. He was going to need it.
