This is bad, this is just awful. Everything is going as she wanted and this fucker is still alive. The boy before me cocked his head in confusion and malice etched into his eyes.
I stuck my tongue out at him and loved how he shriveled up in fear. The forked-tongue licked the air whilst reaching for his face. I placed my tongue back in my mouth.
"What are you?" He whispered.
"None of your fuckin' business, freak."
He arched a brow.
"You wanna call someone a freak? Have you seen yourself?"
"I'm sexy as fuck, I know." I smirked.
The boy narrowed his eyes then sighed.
"I can't be bothered with you right now. Have you seen my daughter?" He snapped.
"Vho?"
"Pale skin, black hair, eyes like mine." I blinked slowly. He hissed and pinched his brow. "She has a stuffed bunny."
Oh shit. The memory of the little girl crumbling to ash nipped at my conscience. I side eyed the ocean where her ashes were floating in and her soul forever trapped.
"Dunno vho that is. Maybe she went home?" In a dumpster . . .
Who cares about a snot-nosed brat. I did him a favor that I will keep to myself.
Now, how the hell am I gonna break this spell? Maybe decapitation? No, I'd feel that. Rip his heart out? Slit his throat and leave him to bleed out?
I scolded myself.
He'll just heal again, stupid. Then, it clicked. Just take him to Cyrekas; She can fix anything. I snapped out of my thoughts. A wide smile made me even more ecstatic and purr.
The boy stood up and began walking away so I strolled alongside him.
"Go away, creep."
"Didn't you hear me? We aur' stuck together," I cooed.
He scowled and looked ahead. "I should kill you."
"Vhy me? I'm harmless!" I grinned.
He stopped walking, took deep breaths and clapped with each word, "You tried to kill me!"
"Tsk, that's how I say hello."
I didn't see the claws coming till they ripped out half my jaw. I snarled in his face and choked him again.
"Aur you insane!?" I sunk my teeth in his throat and shook him like a rag doll.
Bad idea.
My neck began burning and throbbing so I let him go and rubbed the bite marks on my throat. The wounds already began healing and the skin around it itched. He cupped his jaw with his mouth agape. Blood dribbled down his pale skin. My teeth throbbed for another bite. A tiny nibble. He was delicious.
"W-What. . .huh?" The fucker was about to pass out so I slapped him. My cheek stung right after.
"Vake up," I laughed. "Ve're only connected and there's no vay o' fixin' it"
His eye twitched.
"I'm going home, I'm going to look for my daughter and you're gonna jump off this bridge." He smiled.
The boy began his walk and of course, I walked with him. After a while, he stopped attacking and complaining. We reached the city and I must say, it felt good getting off that bridge after a millennium but to go to this dump . . .the bridge sounds appetizing. Demons and lowlives crawled over the place with loud chatter.
I laughed as a sickly man beat his squonk over its head. The ugly thing cried louder and earned another hit this time with the man's boot.
"Can't tame em, huh." Someone chortled to the man who scratched his pale head.
"Ssssoon I'll have him ready for the auction. Ssssome money would be niccce."
The squonk cried and clung to its master's leg.
"Sell me not, master! Master loves me too much!"
The old man lashed the squonk who screeched with the bursting of several warts on her arched back.
I looked away and saw that the boy was down the street engaged in a heated quarrel with some woman holding a bucket.
"Stop throwing your water on me!" He seethed. Brackish water dripped from his brunette-black hair. That explains the extra level of gross he had earlier. He swiped under his eyes and pointed a hooked claw in the woman's face. She instantly hopped back.
"Sodomite!" She screamed and darted into a dying building.
He rolled his eyes and gnawed on his lip.
"So, you like it up the arse? Kinda . . .nasty ya know." I chuckled.
"I hope you trip on a knife-"
"-Heathen!" An old lady appeared from nowhere.
"Hi, Muriel, lovely to see you."
The hag narrowed her eyes before flicking her hand and spikes flew out of her fingers. The boy waved his hand and they just fell. My brows shot into my hairline. Nice. Magic? I wonder what he is. Definitely reptilian.
Muriel spat at his feet. Some of her saliva landed on his boot which dissolved. Ew.
"You'll pay for what you've done, heathen!" She stomped off with a huff and my interest peaked even more.
He ignored her and climbed a flight of stairs of some old building. The sides were either gutted or falling apart. Dust rose wherever he placed his foot as he sidestepped certain areas. I retraced his steps and couldn't help staring at his ass. Sodomite huh. . .
"Vhat's your, name?"
"Fuck off."
"Vell, fuck off, I'm Thanatos. Aur we there yet?"
He growled.
After a bit of walking, we landed on a floor that was equally as rundown as the ones below it. There were only two doors and he entered through the first into one of the saddest places I've ever seen.
"Kon-Kon!" A young boy ran over to him. "Papa t-tired."
'Kon-Kon' hugged the child to his chest tightly.
"Did Yylyla come home?"
"No."
