Mad Hatter: You are trying to understand madness with logic. This is not unlike searching for darkness with darkness with a torch.

I woke up suddenly, shaking feverishly with sweat running down from my hair. It felt nasty, and my sick mind was under the impression that thick blood came down from my head. I shook with fear at the thought. I have had those type of nightmares for a while now and they were all exactly the same. An old, abandoned high school and this person with bloody hands, who always held me by the neck with a smirk on his face, and every time I wanted to look up in order to see who was on the verge of killing me, I woke up.

I was sick of this. I was so sick of this.

I was truly sick of walking along a road which I cannot see the end to. Nothing can help me, nobody can cure my sickness, not even the strongest medicine or the wisest doctor.

The feeling of death... I'm too young to die. But I'm too dead inside.

Turning on the lamp on my nightstand, I took two pills from the little medicine bottle. I was nearly out of them. I am buying new other pills Saturday anyway.

Light shone slightly from the window of my bedroom, causing my eyes to close in irritation. Another day full of bullshit- that is what I think every morning. Everything I do is spend the time that was given to me in useless ways: going to school, eating, sleeping, homework, and repeating the process all over again. It's like the law of my own universe, a universe that was made for me to suffer in.

Sometimes I feel like I'm going crazy, and hear voices screaming inside my head. I cannot prevent this, it's a flaw from the time I was born, and it was inherited from my bloodline. Maybe I should be dead...

-*_*- FAST FORWARD -*_*-

It's another day of hell... school. I wish my high school looked like the old one in the forest, too bad it got closed down. Although it is kind of strange how all these people were killed there and the case is still under close observation. I'm curious, was it really that hard to solve it?

"Hey Haze!"

I heard my nickname being called so I turned towards the person. Of course it was her, Cambree Walleybrick, my so called best friend since kinder garden, we stayed close because we were both outcasts, yeah, I said "were" because now she was the captain of the volley team at New-County High School, while I remained an outcast.

Tsk... She has that look on her face the one which she always wears when she has an idea, well damn. I turn on my heels and continue my slaw walk across the high school's corridor.

"Hazel Rawstorm, don't you dare ignore me."

Ignore... ignore... ignore... Whoop, no! I suddenly hit the ground, hard, and a weight fell on top of me, nearly breaking my back bones. Laughter could be heard from everyone in the area.
