"I've seen it. Won't believe it," Kimizuki said shocked. They were now on their way to the next city over after the vampire attack.
"See? I bet if we had that gear you have, we could take down the vampires ourselves," Karma said cockily.
The assassination classroom had easily taken down the vampire that targeted them. Well, easily is a bit of an overstatement. They did have a little trouble but once they weakened it, Guren penetrated it with his sword, using the demon within it.
When Guren did, he called the name of the demon and that made Shinoa curious once again.
While Shinya explained the trial to gain a cursed weapon, Shinoa stepped to the side with Guren. They were still walking closely to the group as to not lose them, but Shinoa wanted for only Guren to hear.
"Guren, my sister is in that sword," she stated. The male hesitated and shook his head.
"No, you're letting things get to your head."
"So you're saying I didn't hear you say 'Mahiru'?" Guren glared at the teenage sergeant.
"Your sister is dead. She is not a demon. I called her name because I was thinking about her."
"I don't care if she's dead or not. I barely even knew her," Shinoa said. Mahiru always was at the the military base with the rest of the Hiragi's. She almost was never home. "What I want to know is if part of her experiments had to do with the demons in the cursed gear."
Guren sighed. "Even I don't know half of what your family did. I am just an Ichinose after all."
Shinoa sighed in frustration before bursting into her usual smirk. "Which is exactly why you should bow down to me, peasant."
"And there's the Shinoa I know," Guren deadpanned.
"Hey, Guren," Yuu called, finally noticing the man trailing behind the group. "Where exactly are we going?"
"To the base, of course," Shinya answered. The Shinoa squad paled. Shinya noticed and widened his eyes. "I'll clear things up for you guys. Don't worry!"
Mitsuba refused to look into his eyes. Shinoa immediately understood why. Instead of her usual manner, she let it slide. No need for the rest to know about the Sangu's way of handling things.
"I don't think that's our best bet," Narumi said for his current squad. "We've gone against the Hiragi's, escaped with a vampire, and have an uncontrollable Seraph with us."
"I'm not uncontrollable," Yuu mumbled angrily. Mika glanced at him and sighed, events from the past week flooded his head as he recalled how the Seraph in Yuu lost control. One of the reasons they had to flee.
The E classes ears perked up at the mention of 'seraph'.
"What's a Seraph?"
Shinya hesitated. He had answered all of their questions so far. They were a bundle of wonders, but he wasn't expecting to answer something close to secret with the Hiragi's. He glanced back at Guren who had a mischeives glint in his eyes. Shinya sighed and decided answering this one question wouldn't hurt. Especially since Guren seemed up to no good if he refused to answer.
"A seraph is an angel that resides inside a human being. There are actually seven seraph's in total,"Shinya explained. Yuu's eyes widened in surprise.
"So you're saying there are six others just like me?" he asked excitedly. Shinya chuckled and ruffled the younger males hair.
"Of course. And you've already met one."
"Huh?" Yuu tilted his head stupidly. Kimizuki slapped his forehead hard in annoyance.
