Chapter 8

****KATIESPOV****

I woke up in the middle of the night because I heard my phone ringing. I look over at it and it was Cameron. I answered the phone

"Hello?"

"Katie?? Something happened"

"What?"

"Hayes got hurt"

" what do you mean he got hurt?"

" he's in the hospital right now"

" what happened"

" come to the hospital"

I hung up after that. I woke Kristen up and she looked at me and she knew something was wrong. I just said " Hayes" and she got up. We walked out of the room and got a taxi to drive us to the hospital.

Kristen and I ran into the hospital. Cam was at the door and he took us to Hayes's room.

When we got into the room I looked around and he wasn't in there. I started crying because I wanted to know what happened.

I looked at Nash and he was crying. I asked where he was and he said he was in surgery.

"Surgery?"

"Yeah. He got hurt pretty bad."

"What happened?"

"Well you know how a lot of people were hating on you guys dating?"

"Yeah.."

"Well Hayes went down to the lobby to get water and there were at least 10 people there all in black and they beat him up pretty bad"

" well do we know who it was?"

"Well we are guessing it was people hating because who would hurt him?"

" true. But why is he in surgery?"

"He broke his arm and then needed to do surgery on it"

"Oh. Ok. Is he gonna be ok?"

" yeah. He just has a bunch of bruises and his arm. So he should be fine for what we know of."

" when did this happen?"

" like 3:00"

" oh. Ok"

I was really worried because why would "fans" hurt him? Like they aren't true fans if they did that. Like why did they go after him? Why couldn't they hurt me? He wasn't getting a lot of hate. Or he wasn't telling me about it.
