Fay P.O.V.
I was sound asleep when the pounding on my door started. I groaned rolling over on my bed nearing falling off. I looked at my clock. It read seven thirty. My first class and only class of the day didn't start until three today. So the reason for me being up this early better be good.
I stumbled out of bed, literally, as the banging on my door didn't stop. I opened it glaring at my best friend Sophie. She gulped and took a few steps back.
"I'm so sorry to disturb your sleep, but Fay, we need someone to take this Silverlines for Grace she forgot it and can't come and get it, and please don't kill me," she was ready to bolt out of there.
I looked down in her arms. It looked like a folder that was crammed with too many sheets of paper. "Seriously, why can't someone else take it, or better yet you?"
She shrugged, "Because, Megan left at seven to meet up with a friend before her eight A.M. class. Dannie got called in at Forever 21. Someone called in sick and Dannie was the next on the list since her first class isn't until twelve they told her that she could leave around eleven. Before you even say it, I have to go meet Will at Starbucks. We have that project to work on."
I sighed. "I hate you all."
"Aww, I love you too babe," she said cheerfully.
My response was the bird which only made her laugh.
"I knew we were corrupting you," she handed me the file and left.
"Ugh," I groaned. I closed my door and walked towards the bathroom that was also connected to Sophie's room. I fixed my hair into a messy bun. Eh, it would work for no. My dark brown hair looked like a rat's nest when I woke up. So a messy bun was a step up. I didn't wear much makeup. Plus when you work to pay for your college tuition, makeup's not on the list of things to buy when you're at the store. So I applied my eye shadow, eyeliner, and mascara. When it came to my outfit, I probably looked funny to some people. I wore black running short, and since my light blue tank top was what I slept in I pulled on one of Dannie's sweat shirts that has the UCLA logo one. She leaves her jackets and sweatshirts everywhere.
Finally I was on my way out. I texted Grace that I was on my way with a few mad emojis to really emphasize how angry I was at her.
(Fay): Seriously?
(Grace): I'm so sorry, but shit, Soph was brave enough to actually get you out of bed. I owe her my life lol.
(Fay): Really, that's all you have to say?
(Grace): Sorry girl, but I promise to make it up to you. Do you want to go to Starbucks tomorrow?
(Fay): Coffee's not going to make up for my few hours of sleep.
(Grace): Few hours? What were you doing last night?
(Fay): I was writing that stupid paper for my journalism class.
(Grace): Oh no, please tell me you're not serious. LOL! Fay, that paper's not due for another three weeks. Why?
(Fay) 'shrugs shoulders' It's called not procrastinating.
(Grace): I'm so telling the girls. LOL. You know I love you right?
I huffed. "Whatever," I muttered. I climbed into my car and drove what should have been only five minutes, but because of the morning traffic, it took my about thirty minutes. Then it took me about ten minutes to find a parking spot. When I was walking towards the building a car came speeding from around the corner and almost hit me. The driver slammed on the breaks. The car's tires screeched on the pavement and stopped about an inch short of me.
