Twenty-two

Haley's POV
Still confused to how I was seeing my body, I didn't think anything of it and sat right next to Daniel. I went to wrap my arms around his, and they went Straight through. I was terrified, what is happening to me. I'm like a ghost watching my body looking at myself in a mirror except it was real. Even thought I physically sat next to Daniel he couldn't feel me nor see me. I wanted to cry. As I felt invisible which I was. I just sat next to him til I finally felt like I could wake up, wake up for Daniel. So I went back to the side of the bed after kissing Daniels head. And I sat back into the bed, making sure I sat straight back into my body. And as soon as I did I felt everything again, I felt like a I had enough strength to move. But I still didn't I must have been sitting there for a while, seeing as Daniel had to get up to take a call.

Daniel: I'll be right back baby, don't wake up without me!

Me: well to bad I'm waking up now.

I tried to open my eyes but I had no luck. I had no energy, nothing to use to open my eyes. That was until I heard Daniels cry's again. He's hurting, hurting all because I'm not strong enough to open my goddamn eyes! I tried as hard as I could one last time to open them, and they did. Slowly but surely. When I opened my eyes i was blinded by light, as I felt all my senses kick back in. And I felt the instant pain of the bruises and scratches all at once. I bit my lip to keep in the whimper that wanted to escape. And luckily it didn't, Daniel was still on the phone crying when I look over him. It took me a few tries but I finally got his name out. And as soon as he heard me he dropped his phone, and turned around stunned. I looked at him as he ran to me crying.

Daniel: BABY! Your up!

Me: yes! There's no need to cry.

He wrapped me in a hug, and no matter how hard the bruises on my body hurt. I didn't pay attention he needed this hug, he deserved it. He ran into the hallway and told the nurses I was up along with the rest of my friends. The nurses came in asked me questions about how I felt, and things like that. Then they finally let all my friends in, starting with Emma and Alyssa. They came in and ran to my side I held my hand up and pointed to the IV they laughed a little then slowly hugged me.

Emma: don't fucking do that again!

Alyssa's we were scared shitless!

Me: I'll pay more attention next time.

Emma: there won't be a next time UBERS FOR YOU!
