I stood there for a little bit. I felt played it seemed like he was embarrassed to be around me when his friends are there. I took a sip from my half-finished frappe; any moment from now I would have to leave to this frat party.
I continue to walk to my room where I heard music blasting, Lex and Danny are here. I try to look not nervous as I opened the door.
"Hey you guys". I said softly
"Finally you're here Jesus we thought you would bail on us "Danny Says while she puts on her red lipstick. Danny had on a Red sox's Jersey with high waisted acid bleached shorts and her bred 11's. She looked really nice I thought I was overdressing.
Lex on the other hand had on a crop top with some plain black leggings and combat boots. She had her hair pulled up in a bun, but her bangs were out. Her makeup was very neutral with a bright pink lipstick.
I grabbed my black Huf socks and pulled them on my feet. Then I put on my transparent boots.
I was finished, so I decided to give Jamal a call. It was 8:15 so he was off work. I dial the number slowly as if I was nervous, which I mean I was but he doesn't know me so who is he to judge. Plus he gave me his number, so obviously he wants to talk to me. The phone rings 1 time before I hear a voice.
"Hello?"
"Is this Jamal?" I ask.
"This is him and who is this?"
"This is the girl from Starbucks you wrote your number on my receipt". I smile as I remember the kind words on the note.
"Oh hey, sorry I didn't ask for your name earlier. I can't talk to customers outside of business talk until after work hours". He admits.
His voice is extremely deep; turn on.
"Your good, I understand can't lose that income". I hear his laugh which sounds like angels singing harmonies. I was kind of interested in talking to him.
"So anyways your short as hell, I was like Midgets are the new thing". He made me blush.
"Shut up I can't help that I'm only 5 feet tall, maybe your just a giant your like 5'10"
"Okay I'm actually only 5'11; I'm not even that tall."
We eventually kept talking until it was time for me to go this frat party I was hella nervous but fuck it.
"So you're going to a party without me to twerk on". He jokingly says.
"Pretty much" I sarcastically answer.
"Ok well be safe don't die there's only a few amount of cute girls around here, can't lose another one"
"Aww that was cute but I really got to go so bye." I hung up on the phone and Followed Danny out the door.
Luckily I we weren't driving so all of us could drink at least. The party was really close so we all decided to just walk. The whole time Lex played Music on her phone so we could get our pre turn up in. I was ready to dance. Lex and Denny were way better at dancing but they always said I was a good dancer.
Lex told us that the party was really close. I could tell I could hear music from a far. All I was hoping for was a good time. Eventually we were in front of the house; the music was blasting extremely loud. They were playing various amounts of songs that I heard back at home in Texas.
As soon as we walked into the house shots were handed to us. I pour my drinks so I decided to dump the drink once I found a trash can. I looked over to see Lex and Danny pretty much downed the drink. This frat party wasn't your average party. It was ratchet, Full of half-naked girls and thirsty guys trying to get in someone pants.
