Chapter1

"He will always be remembered, as a father, as a loving husband, a good friend, a loved sibling." It was raining very hard, the thunder and rain drops that dropped hard on the floor muffled my cries. I was there... I was there and I blame myself.... I could have done more to save him. 

two weeks ago:

"Haha dad stop watch the road! You and your dumb puns!" My dad and I were driving in the car taking a trip to the beach like we always did when my mother was away for work. My dad and I would usually do things together when he was free from work. We were super close. "Hey Jae rin, do you want to put on music?" I smirked as I put the aux cord in my phone. "But of course father!" I put on our favorite song and sang our hearts out. At the end of the song we laughed and talked. " I love you appa. You are always there for me like a father should be for his daughter, you are my best friend." "I love you to jae rin." We looked at each other and in a flash a car behind us rammed into our car and we flipped. There were cliffs by the edge so typically the little wall would help prevent the car from falling but it didn't do it's part like it was supposed to do.  We rolled to the edge and I was knocked out. "Mph, appa?" I woke up from what seemed to be an eternity of bad sleep. I saw that we were upside down in our car and that all the windows broke. I undid my seat belt and fell. "AAgh!" I looked at my leg, there was a big piece of glass from the wind shield in my leg. It was excruciating pain, I saw the driving window open with a hand hanging on to the rim of the open car door over the cliff. I crawled over and saw my father dangling over the edge. "APPA!" I screamed and grabbed his hand from the car door. "Appa don't let go, I have you." I started crying and panicking. The car made a rumbling sound. "Jae rin, let go the car is going to tip and we both will die." My father said in a concern and stern voice. "WTF NO! Id rather go with you! appa I will never let go!" I used my other cut hand to grab my fathers one hand but it was slipping. "Appa! Give me your other hand!" My dad looked at me with tears in his eyes and smiled. "Honey, its okay, what did I say about your dog, huh?" "DAD STOP!" I tried with all my might but my arm were to busted up and cut to bring him up, but that wouldn't stop me from saving my best friend, my dad."Honey, what did I teach you that day? What about the day you lost your friend?" I replied while crying "You said, you said that it's okay to let go, that things will change but memories never will and they will stay forever with us, but dad--" "Jae rin" My dad cut me off. "Its okay, Ill be with you forever, Ill still protect my little girl, nothing will keep me apart from being with you." "Dad no!--" My hands kept slipping and the car kept moving down closer to the cliff. "I love you jae rin." I ignored him and continued to try pulling him up. "Jae rin, i love you and ill see you again very soon my precious princess." "I love yo--" The car was slipping faster and with one yank from the car slipping, my dad was gone. I screamed and tried going closer to see him but once  I tried, the police pulled me out of the car. I fought back but they said there was no way he could have survived that fall. He was gone, I didn't even get to finish saying goodbye....
