Than trees and trash talk
But it is surely true
And not just a mock
The sand could represent nostalgia
Since you probably see it often
The water could be your feelings
Wavy for fear, but happy when they soften
The sun could be love
Always there and always warm
The footprints you leave in the sand
Could represent the memories that you form
The sand castles could mean creations,
No matter how brief
The tide could mean sacrifices
Or the turning over a new leaf
So, life and beaches
Aren't so different after all
They have much in common
Like a bird song or a bird call
