Yoongi POV
The next couple of months fly by. Thankfully, when we all got back home, the attacks on Jingsae completely stopped. I imagine the entire community heard about us defeating Chan and have decided once again that we're not a gang to be fucked with.
She had to quit working altogether after we got back as well, being too far along in her pregnancy to be able to actually work well or to even have enough energy to get through a full shift with no help.
We ended up getting a a house together last month as well. The boys helped us move in, helped us furnish the place. They also took us to go baby shopping a couple days after that as well. They were all just a little too excited to be going baby shopping but it was cute seeing them like that and it was nice to be able to get it done with some help.
"Butterfly, are you ready?" I ask, knocking lightly on our bedroom door with a smile. I've been taking her out on little random dates periodically since she came home from the hospital since I never got the chance to do that before everything happened. Although, I'll be honest. Tonight's date isn't just about taking her out on a small random date again. I've got something special planned and in complete honesty, I'm beyond nervous for it.
"My goodness you're impatient sometimes." She teases as she finally opens the door. I grin my gummy smile at her before leaning down and kissing her.
"Come on. We've got reservations tonight and I don't want us to be late." I tell her as I take her hand and lead us out the door. She gives me a questioning look.
"Reservations? Really, Yoongi?" She asks as we get in my car. I nod my head with a smile, causing her to roll her eyes despite the small smile forming on her lips. The car ride there is fairly silent, the only sound being the music playing through the radio.
"Oh, Yoongi! You've got to be kidding me!" She exclaims when I pull into the parking lot. I ended up taking her to one of the nicer restaurants in town. I smile as I look over at her.
"Come on, Butterfly." I tell her softly before getting out of the car. She manages to open her car door, but I beat her over there and help her out. She gives me a playful glare but says nothing.
Thankfully, everything goes smoothly during dinner. The food ends up being really good and we both ended up just ordering waters to drink since she can't be having any alcohol. As our conversation begins to die back down, she smiles over at me and shakes her head slightly.
"What?" I question with a small smile of my own.
"You." She says, her smile spreading out into a small grin.
"What about me?" I ask with a chuckle, rolling my eyes at her attempt to avoid answering.
"I can't believe you got us reservations here. That you've been going through all the trouble of taking us on random little dates. Thank you." She explains.
Biting my lip nervously, I smile and shrug before purposefully 'accidentally' knocking my knife on the floor. I huff to play annoyed at my 'stupidity' getting off the chair that I'd been sat in for the evening to 'get the knife' while she just watches me in amusement.
Swallowing hard while getting down, I take a deep breath. I've made a fool out of myself enough to get me this far, I can't back out now. Biting my lip a little harder, I fix my position so that I'm by her side and down on one knee as I pull the small black jewelry box from my pants pocket. Her eyes widen as she looks at me with a mixture of confusion and something else that I can't identify.
"Yoongi... What're you doing?" She asks softly, the amusement now gone from her face. I give her a small smile in return.
"Butterfly,... You make me happier than I've ever been before, and you mean more than the world to me. I... You've had me wrapped around your finger since our first conversation in the hallways that day. Since the first time I saw you dancing in that empty dance practice room. And... I know things haven't exactly been easygoing this entire time and that I've not even really known you for even a year. But... Jingsae, I love you beyond what words can explain. Will you... Will you please marry me?" I don't know how I manage to get it all out.
