It was a bit of a pain to keep the secret from the team. Especially Natasha, she's my best friend, as much as I want to tell her I know I can't. Because as soon as I let the cat out of the bag the pressure will be on. So for now, I just had to keep my mouth shut.

I was in the library, reading, that's what I usually do in my down time, which I don't really get a lot of. Being an Avenger is a lot of work, ya know. A warm presence melted in behind me, strong muscular arms wrapped around my waist and hot breath tickled my ear.

"Hi," Clint whispered lovingly. I closed my book and leaned into his embrace.

"Hi," I mumbled. His warmth left me, and I heard the library door close softly, I turned to him seeing he was still wearing his uniform. He must have just gotten back from his mission. He returned to me and pulled me into his arms.

I was thin for a warrior sort profession, but I guess I don't need much muscle when I have my abilities. Being petite, makes me easier to hold I guess, thank heavens for that, because Clint does give warmest hugs.

We'd been secretly dating for 4 months now, it hurt me not to tell Nat, and Steve. My closest friends, I Clint and I both knew it was far better to keep our love on the down low. If Tony found out, I don't even wanna open that door.

"Miss me?" he asked. Giving me a gentle kiss.

"Mhm,"

He smiles a bit, before pressing his lips back to mine. I break away,

"When can we tell them?"

His gaze drops.

"I wanna tell them. I really do. But, I don't want Tony and Thor to bother you. Or me for that matter,"

"But what about Nat? I feel wrong not telling her. And Steve,"

He sighs deeply, pressing his forehead to mine.

"I don't know," he murmurs into my hair, stroking it softly.

"What if we make them promise not to tell? We can trust them can't we?"

"I suppose so, but can we focus on us right now. I've been gone for a week, I missed to,"

I giggled and kissed him
