Chapter 5 - The Battle For Beacon

GunMetal's POV

I got my sword ready and looked at everybody getting set to fight my battle with the father I never knew I had, something had to be done.   "Hey everyone, I know you all want a chance to defend your home but this is a fight I need to fight by myself, this is one fight not just for Beacon but for my pride this is my only true fight".  I watched as everybody started to get angry and argue with me but Ozpin spoke up "Students if this is what he truly believes he must do then we can not argue with him because this is his destiny, now everyone get back to the building and protect it at all costs from any Grimm or soldiers that try to pierce it's walls".

Then Ozpin approached me and spoke much softer "please tell me you have some kind of plan because Noir Gray is not a foe to be triffled with".  I looked down with a defeated look then back up, "I'm barely stronger than last time with no plan or strategy but this must be done by me, I need you all to distract Cinder and the army that will accompany them".  Ozpin smiled and said with some spirit to his voice "You have our full support we will ensure that nobody else can touch you just make sure to stop him"......

1 Hour Later - GunMetal's POV

I stood alone as a single hunter waiting until I saw my father break the treeline with Cinder by his side and thousands of Grimm following them, I stood emotionless for a moment before readying myself for the fight that was about to happen.  I loaded fire and gravity dust into my sword for a really big boom hoping with my semblance it'll give me a big enough boost to end this in a single blow.....

I rushed forward trying to break new speeds and in a single moment I stopped and lashed my blade with a huge explosion behind it with everybody watching in silence including Cinder as my blade sliced through Noir like he was made of butter, but before i could finish I heard a loud laugh as he gripped my throat again and squeezed and I watched his body slowly start to repair itself.

Noir looked me in the eye and said "Well done boy you almost caused me some discomfort but let me teach you a lesson seeing as this is a school".  Then i was thrown into a nearby tree and it shattered around me causing my armor to break around my torso shredding my skin up.  Then the real battle began as Cinder and all the Grimm rushed the school.

I stood up slowly gripping my blade "Not too bad old man but I can still fight, I refuse to give up and let you take the fall maiden".  I loaded all of my remaining dust into Burst Breaker  and stared him down trying to come up with some way to kill him and thought"Maybe if I can stab him and explode my sword the mixture of all the dust will rip him to shreds along with me but it could save everybody else, it's worth a shot and maybe I could survive the blast". 

So I started to slowly walk towards my father when suddenly I saw my brother fly in from out of nowhere and stand by my side.  He looked at me and said "This was never your fight alone it was our fight and we need to kill him together".  So the two of us rushed forward swinging as fast and hard as we could trying to make lasting damage but he constantly healed as we did any damage.

"Alex we gotta figure something out quickly because i'm running on empty and he seems just fine, if anything it's like he is getting stronger each time he heals".  Alex nodded but before anything else could be said I heard Ozpin "Overtax his healing ability, he can only heal so much there must be a limit to it".  I smirked and pushed my body even further trying to find his limit but he just kept healing but he never attacked. 

So I looked over to Alex and said "Distract him I'm gonna try something really stupid that might just work but you gotta keep him attacking because i don't think he can heal and attack at the same time".  Then I pushed my sembalnce to it's absolute breaking point and hit Mach 3 and started to charge up my sword for the massive boom that is about to ensue and I have no idea if I will even survive it but it's for the survival of my friends and my fiance and child.

Battlefield - Alex's POV

I started flying around trying to get my fathers attention so he would start shooting at me but when I saw Gun getting ready to blow his sword I came to the realization of what he is doing but I can't let him do this he has too much to live for, "Bro toss me the sword I have an even worse idea for that boom boom you want".  He looked over and me and hesitated before thowing his blade and I caught it in mid-air before charging my sembalnce and pouring all of my dust to the tip of the bade and dropping down towards Noir Gray the bastard shouldn't be able to heal from this explosion.

The moment before I drove the blade into his head I exploded Burst Breaker  for maximum damage and as soon as I touch his skull I exploded with the force of 5 supernovas which caused a good crater to form.......

GunMetal's POV

I watched helplessly as my brother detonated along with my sword and right as the explosion happened everybody around it was blown back into the school and all the grimm disintegrated, leaving Cinder all alone to escape in the chaos....

I stumbled back to everyone bloodied and broken but we all survived this battle and I still get to be a father.....

So end the story of Team FANG losing one dear friend but the day was won and the enemy vanquished.....
