After filming the video, I edited it and uploaded it as soon as possible.

"Okay, we'll check in a few days and see if James has seen it. If he doesn't, we'll have to come up with a plan B." Olivia said.

I whipped my head to face her and rapidly shook my head. "There's no plan B, C, or D. If it doesn't work, that's it."

"(Y/n). If you don't even try to get his attention, you'll never get it."

I knew that and honestly I didn't want to give up. I hate seeming desperate but it's go big or go home. I wasn't going to ruin my extremely slim chances of possibly dating him.

"Okay. Well, we'll see what happens."

I was browsing on Snapchat when I decided to check James' story. I'm secretly hoping that he did see it. This could be my only chance.

"Guys, I was on YouTube last night and saw that the girl from that viral shorts video followed one of my makeup tutorials! Sister did a good job not going to lie."

I smiled and clicked on the next snap.
"I didn't know she had a YouTube channel! Sister (y/n) if you're watching this: hit me up, let's collab and let's film a good and fresh makeup video together."

"No fucking way that worked. There's no fucking way that worked! Oh my god I have to call Olivia over right now."

"Get your fucking ass over here now."

"Do it! Why are you not sending it?!" Olivia screamed at me.

"I don't know if it's good enough!" I yelled back.

I was currently typing and backspacing the dm I was trying to send to James Charles. I have rewritten this dm so many times that I'm angry at myself.

"Okay I'm doing it!" I clicked the send button and threw my phone across the room in excitement.

"If you don't mention me to James I'll literally cut your hair off while you're sleeping."

"I will, I will!"

Suddenly, I heard my phone bing from across the room. I rushed over to it and unlocked my phone. I covered my eyes and held it out for Olivia to read for me.

"Great! I can book your flight for you tonight sister! When are you free?"

"Oh no, I don't want him to pay for my flight. Give me." I said and began texting him back.

James responded instantly and we agreed on the date. "He said I can come a day early so we can get to hang out."

"I'm having second hand excitement. I can't believe it worked." Olivia gasped loudly.

"What?"

"Do you think you'll get to meet Ian?"

"Probably not, he's probably back in New York." I said and grabbed my laptop.

I began searching for plane tickets for next week. James was going to do my makeup and I was going to do his while blindfolded for my channel. I can't wait to meet him.

I got off the plane and walked out to the pick up area. I had ordered a Uber a few minutes ago so it should be here by now. They said they were close to the area but LA traffic is absolute hell. After a few minutes, my Uber pulled up. I got in and sat in the backseat.

Y/N: hi james I'm omw to yours right now, I just landed!

J: hi (y/n)! Great, I'll see you in a bit! So excited!

My stomach was full with butterflies out of excitement. I can't believe I'm finally in LA.

I got dropped off in front of James' apartment building. I got on the elevator and waited anxiously. My stomach was turning and my palms were sweating. The elevator door opened and I quickly pulled myself together. I walked to the door and pushed the buzzer button. I was suddenly face to face with James Charles.

"Oh my god, hi! Nice to meet you!" James said.

"Hi, nice to meet you too!" I said.

He let me in and we sat down on his couch.
"Wow, okay this doesn't seem real. Sorry, this is my first time ever meeting someone I've watched for so long." I rambled.

"You're fine, sister! I'm literally so excited to film with you, you have no idea."

We began talking about our interests and when we should upload the videos. My phone rang in my back pocket, interrupting our conversation.
"Sorry, can I take this?" I pointed at my phone.

He nodded and I answered the call. It was Olivia, of course.

O: "Are you there yet? How was your flight?"

"It was fine and yeah, I'm actually with him right now!"

O: "Really?! Oh my god, pleaseee put me on speaker."

I mouthed 'speaker' to James and he nodded.
I clicked the speaker button and waited for her to speak.

O: "Hi James! I'm Olivia, (y/n)'s best friend. I love you and your videos!"

"Hi Olivia! Thanks so much, love you too sister!" James said.

O: "Is Ian there?"

Of course...she just had to bring him up

"No, he's not unfortunately. He's back home."

O: "I bet (y/n) would have loved for him to be there."

"Okay, bye Olivia!" I said and hung up.

Well that answered my question. It sucks that I won't be able to meet him.

"Sounds like somebody has a little crush on sister Ian." James teased. "I think you two would look cute together."

I laughed a little. "Thanks, but I can't have a crush on someone I don't know."
