"I hope you all take more pride in the next test." My teacher mumbled as I slumped down in my seat located in the far back corner of the room. Most of the class had their eyes glued to the board while mine curiously searched the room for Antonio. It was still early to be expecting his mesmerizing features being that class had just started, but hey there is a first for everything, right?
"I know most of you didn't study for it, and that obliviously was reflected greatly on your grades." She added, passing back the tests from the day before, as she mean mugged the entire time, especially placing mine face down before walking away. I had already known I was going to get a bad grade, but seeing I had an F and a please see me after class made me really begin to envy civics class.
I sighed rolling my eyes, before slipping my test into my bag, "Mr. Rameriez." A voice called out as my head shot into the direction of the door way. "Do you have a pass?" Our teacher, Mrs. Martin, questioned as he strolled into the class with a mischievous smirk, dropping a bright yellow paper into her hand before waking slowly to his seat, right beside mine. I tried my best to not make my curious eyes wander to him, but it was absolutely no use. He was seriously irresistible. All though no matter how much I would die to at share a conversation with him, talking to him seemed almost impossible.
He liked girls who where down to roll a blunt, give head, and still only be treated as a side piece since he appositely didn't like relationships. He just wanted to be a free man who can mess with anyones girl and still have no worries to go home to. No matter how much I knew he wasn't anything but a boy who wanted to get between another easy girls legs, everything about him seemed worth passing up my virginity as if it where a lousy piece of candy instead of the precious treasure many referred to it as.
"As I was saying," Mrs. Martin than began, after looking over the pass a few time before tossing it out into the nearby trashcan. "I'll be giving a few of you the opportunity to make up the test if you would like, and averaging out your grade from the before test to see where you stand. But if you did very poorly, as many of you had, I would advise also taking the route of trying your hardest to make up your grade to the best of your abilities through extra credit. Next time try not to blow off a test that is worth so much of your grade." She then added, she then placed a graded test similar to mine on Antonio's desk, before walking away.
I tried my best to glance over at his desk without seeming to obvious, and was able to see that he had the same exact grade I did, with the please see me after class bullshit written in purple pen. "Due to not having so many students actually receive a high grade, I'm going to be grouping anyone who got a C or lower with someone who received at least a B on the test." She then mentioned, before calling out random names as the class erupted with annoyed sighs and choruses of teeth sucking.
"Desirae and Cameron." She then finished, placing down her clipboard before scanning the classroom. "Is there anyone who's name I forgot to call?" She then questioned as everyone began to move into their groups, leaving Antonio alone in the back of the class, obviously knocked out.
"Hey." Cameron greeted, placing his book down on the empty desk in front of mine before taking a seat, positing him self so we were face to face. "So what did you get on this test?" He questioned, as I slid the test towards him, without exchanging a single word in response. Cam repositioned the black rimmed Ray-Bans on the bridge of his nose as he scanned over the test swiftly, placing it back down onto the desk before looking over at me. "Do you even understand civics?" He asked with a chuckle, pointing to 13 out 50 questioned I actually had gotten correct. I shook my head with a small smile, as a slight bit of embarrassment then hit me. The last thing I want him thinking is I was a complete dumb ass.
