Chapter 4

Kim's P.O.V

"Kim you awake?" Kevin whispers into my ear. I open one eye and reply, "Kinda." He smiles and says "Good, we've got lots to do today." I look at him puzzled "What do you mean?". He smiles "You'll see." Then hands me some clothes. I ask him, "Where did you get these clothes?" He looks back at me "My sister left some of her stuff here when she moved out." I then say "Ahhhh..." He walks out of the room and I start to dress myself.

I come down the stairs and get greeted by a lady who I did not recognise. Kevin comes around the corner, "Oh Kim, this is Hilary. Our maid." I smile and hand my hand out "Nice to meet you." She shakes my hand gladly and says " Same to you."

Kevin pulls me into the kitchen and sits me down into a plate full of pancakes, sausages and bacon. He sits down opposite me and says.."..well, eat. As I said we have stuff to do." Then he grabs his fork and knife and wolfs down his breakfast.

When we were finished, Kevin took me down to the village. He says to me "Close your eyes" I look at him "Ehh, why?" Then he smiles and says "Do you trust me?". I say back "I guess..." and I close my eyes. He takes my hand and leads me the way.

I took one more step and then I hear a loud cheer. I open my eyes and I see hundreds of people standing before me. I look down and I realise I'm on a stage. I look at Kevin, and then a memory flashed back to me.

I picked up the shovel and I began digging. I see Kevin just a few feet away from me doing the same thing. I look around and everybody else is doing the same thing. A member of the crew, Danny came up to me and asked me to collect the wood down in the forrest near the portal. I agree to do it and I jump and skip my way down to the forrest.

Skipping along, I hear a wolf savaging through something. My heart stops as I then see the wolf attacking one of the woodchopper men. I hide behind a tree and close my eyes as I heard screaming and growling. I looked at the wolf again and saw a axe stuck to a tree stump just behind the wolf. I then realised what I had to do. Kill the wolf.

I quietly come out from behind the tree, and quietly make my way towards the axe. I had to do this quickly if the woodchopper was to stay alive. I made my way to the stump and tried to take the axe out. I pull, and pull, and pull. It then quickly comes out of the stump causing me to fall to the ground. My landing makes all kinds of sticks crack and crunchy leaves crackle. I then hide behind the stump crouching down with the axe in my hands, knowing the wolf will look behind in my direction. I then hear the wolf stop doing what it was doing. The woodchopper continued to scream in pain. I held my breath as I heard the wolf making it's way towards me. I could hear the woodchopper trying to get away then the wolf passed it's focus back on him. I quietly get back up and quietly walk towards it. I held the axe over my head, getting ready to kill it. The man sees me with the axe and screams even louder and fighting the wolf back to distract the wolf. I am a couple of inches away from the wolf and I use all my force bringing down the axe towards the wolf's body. I hit it and it whimpers in pain. It falls to the floor and yelps. I aim the axe towards it's neck and put all my force down again. The wolf stops whimpering and just falls lifeless. I then drop the axe down onto the floor. I run over to the woodchopper and I look at all his wouns. He has claw marks all over his body, a bite on his arm which is oozing blood out everywhere and a bite on the leg. I say to him "I'll go get help!". I run as fast as I can trying to get to the village.

I make it to the village and scream at the top of my lungs, "A woodchopper needs medical attention out in the forrest, someone please help him!" A bunch of huge lads come up to me "Where is he?" I tell them "I'll show you."

We make it to the scene and the huge lads run over to him. They pick him up and carry him away, not even noticing the dead wolf that laid beside him. I follow behind them.
