The next day you awoke to the sound of a bang on the door, you got up and went to the door to see Shikamaru,
“Shikamaru what you doing here?” you asked, he smiled,
“Well we have a mission!” he replied,
“Huh, right now!?” you asked with a raised eyebrow,
“Yeah, you, me, Neji and ---” Shikamaru began but was cut off,
“SHINA...we are going on a mission YEAH!!” Naruto bounced in yelling,
"Naruto!" Shikamaru finished, you smiled and turned around and headed back to your bed,
“Well i’ll get ready, you guys go on ahead.....Wait what the......Naruto this picture!” you said as you noticed the picture of him, Sakura, Kakashi and....Sasuke,
“Oh yeah, thats us the old team 7 before.......before Sasuke left!” Naruto replied, and for the first time you saw the spark leave his face, ‘Oh my god....Sasuke came from the leaf....oh no oh no, this is not gonna end well!! The scum bag!’ you thought as you headed towards the bathroom.About half an hour later you were washed dressed and ready for anything, you left the building and realized you had no idea where you would be meeting everyone when you herd someone call you,
“Shina!” you turned to see Neji,
“Hey, you get up late too!” you joked,
“Huh, no i was up at the crack of dawn, just thought you would need to know where we would be meeting!” he replied, you smiled,
“Heaven has sent me a guardian angel!” you teased, Neji smirked and lead the way.
“We meet at the front gates for every mission!” Neji explained,
“Oh that makes sense so.....what is the mission?” you asked, Tsunade looked around at all four of you,
“So Shina this is your first mission in a team, now the tests you completed didn’t really test your teamwork so....”
“Hey i can work in a team!!” you reassured, Shikamaru and Neji looked at you as if to say 'yeah right' then back to Tsunade,
“Yes well, i have set Shikamaru the job of keeping an eye on your teamwork abilities and reporting to me,”
“Ugh...what a drag!” Shikamaru moaned, you sniggered,
“Are you sure the line of work of a ninja is appropriate for someone as lazy as you?” you asked sarcastically, Naruto laughed and Neji sniggered, as Shikamaru stood there looking unimpressed, you laughed it off and turned to Tsunade,
“So whats the mission?” you asked,
“For your mission you have to go to the Village Hidden in Hot Water, there you will meet a man called Tamishi Rato, you are to escort him back here to the Leaf village, Neji is team captain,” Tsunade explained,
“Okay...um so who’s after the guy!” you asked,
“Who’s to say anyone is after him!” Naruto asked looking ,
“Oh please someone doesn’t just call for an escort because he feels like wasting money!” you replied with a raised eyebrow, Tsunade looked at you and smiled,
“Very good Shina, yes i do feel that there is something that he failed to mention but he gave no extra details just that he needed a B rank mission, so just be on your guard!” Tsunade replied, you all nodded and turned and left the village,
“So how long will it take to get to this place?” you asked,
“About two days,” Shikamaru replied looking at the map, you walked until nightfall then you set up camp, you were up on a tree branch while the guys set up the tent and ate.
