You squeezed your eyes closed twice to adjust your eyes to the surroundings and lighting then slowly opened them to see white walls around you, you shot up to sit upright, then clenched your gut in pain,
“UGH” you groaned,
“Shina!” came a voice beside you, you looked up to see Shikamaru, you looked at him,
“Shikamaru...” you mumbled as you looked up into his smiling face, yet the face of the man who stabbed you lingered in your mind, he was familiar, maybe a man from your past you just didn’t know. Shikamaru’s hand was on your shoulder and your felt safe, you pulled Shikamaru down to sit on the edge of your bed and you hugged him when you pulled out of the hug you sat back and looked at him,
“Where am i?” you asked,
“The Leaf hospital!” he answered and watched you look around,
“Hmph” you sighed,
Just then Kakashi, Naruto, Neji, Shino, Kiba and Lee bursted into the room and Tsunade followed,
“SHINA!” Naruto and Lee yelled in sync, you smiled at them,
“So Shina what happened?” Neji asked, you look out the window for a minute then turned back to them,
“Well i was stabbed in the gut!” you began sarcastically,
“Did the Akatsuki do this to you?” Shikamaru asked, you shook your head,
“No, it was....um...some guy...” you replied trying to think, to remember who he was, they all looked at you,
“Who?” Shino asked, you closed your eyes and breathed in deep as a sudden memory came back to you.
‘It was back when you were 5 years old and returning home from training with jutsu, you had come home late as you were too determined to get it right that you didn’t want to quit. Anyway when you returned home and you entered your living room to see a man slicing your parents and brother like a piece of cake, he looked up to see you and all you saw was a face with black hair and eyes, the man seemed to have a friendly face yet he had just killed your parents, and thats when you ran.........’ after the memory flashback ended tears ran down your face which concerned everyone, you knew who the guy was now...
“Shina...” Shikamaru said gently you looked up and wiped your eyes and smiled,
“Hm, i’m fine, and i don’t know who it was...” you lied, you were not fine and you definitely knew who it was!
A few hours later you were released from the hospital after hours of nagging and you went home to get changed. Later that day you were walking around the village and you were lost in your own world not taking anyone around you into account.
You came to the edge of the village and you were listening to the birds sing when you suddenly herd a whistle, it wasn't a bird but it was coming from a tree. You waved to the guards as you left the village and headed out towards the training grounds, you looked around,
“Shina!” came a voice from up ahead of you, you followed the voice and came to a reservoir with a small waterfall, where a boy was on the water,
“Sasuke!” you called with a smile, you walked over to him,
“So i herd you got taken to hospital with a kunai wound!” he said concerned, you smiled at him,
“You herd?” you implied with a raised eyebrow,
“Well i eavesdropped, and spied!” he confessed, you laughed then turned around, you knew someone would wonder where you were, so you had to cut the visit short, you turned your head,
