"PEOPLE ONLY ASK YOU TO REMEMBER THEM IF THEYRE PLANNING TO LEAVE!"
The completely lovestruck couple can't get enough of each other. Ever since El returned, they have been pretty much attached at the hip. Their wasn't a day (other than Sunday since that was church day for Mike) they spent apart from each other.
They were just so crazy for each other.
They swung their conjoined hands back and fourth as they walked down the long gravel road leading to the hoppers cabin. El smiled at mike as he explained dungeons and dragons in such depth that it made him look so tragically adorable, how he could get so insanely obsessed with something.
She nods her head meekly to every little thing he says until she can't help but burst out something she had been longing to say.
"Promise you'll always remember me." El says abruptly.
He looks up at her surprised. "Don't make me promise that." He begs gripping her hand tighter.
She looks up, severely hurt.
"People only ask you to remember them, if they're planning to leave." He tells her.
"If you're planning to leave, for both of our sakes, please don't ask me to remember it." He says lowly.
She looks into his eyes with so much passion that for a second he almost believes she would die for him all over again, which she certainly would. But that's besides the point.
"I'm not leaving you. Not now. Not ever." She confesses. She wraps her arms around him, holding him as if he was about to disappear before her eyes.
He smiled at her, sweetly.
What did I do? What did I do to deserve him.
In a swift motion, he captures her soft, vulnerable lips. He hold her there, kissing her with so much intensity that people would think they were never going to see again.
Just two lovestruck kids, so deeply and tragically in love with each other.
