Love At First Glance

Silence.

No one in the hall way complete silence.

30 seconds before the bell rings before the hallways fill with a sea of students rushing to get from one class to another. Like every school day students rush their given 5 minutes to get from class to class. People stop to talk to each other, others walk together, some checking their locker for a note or the homework for the next class. So many people doing so many things and all I want to do it talk to her.

*10 seconds till bell

I got out of class early 5 minutes early. I told my teacher that I had a stomach ache and he let me go to the bathroom. I took my things and headed into the empty hallway pretending to head to the bathroom. I proceeded to go to my locker. 18-28-14 *click * I pretended to look through my locker for a book or something. I couldn't stand being in a class doing nothing for 5 minutes and I'd rather pretend to search my locker than sit in class.

I checked my watch and the bell is just about to ring.

Doors slam open and the hallways are flooded with students. I look around and I see people walking, checking lockers, talking to each other and I'm still bored.

Then all at once everything stopped. It felt like time froze and everyone stopped in their place. Down the aisle I saw, her. She had the face of an angel, long black hair, soft brown eyes, pink plump lips that makes you long for lips like that to kiss.

She was absolutely perfect, I couldn't take my eyes off her. As she walked down the hallway all I could see was her almost floating like an angle sent down to me from heaven.

My heart was beating super fast. It was aching to just talk to her.

Who is she? What's her name? How can I get her to notice me? I wanna talk to her but how?

Then suddenly everything went back to normal. I check my watch 12:44 the bell is gonna ring in a minute!

She's walking away! I try to push my way through the crowd but there are too many people. How can I get to her she's too far I'm getting pushed the other way...

The hallways are once again empty.

She's gone.

My heart aches for her yet I don't know who she is.

I guess it's now my turn to head to class to let the hallway be empty for another 45 minutes. Maybe I'll see her again. Maybe.
