[Aiden above 0////0]
Landon awoke with a start, Aiden silently standing over him, his grey eyes piercing a hole into Landon's soul.
"What are you doing?" Landon whispered cautiously. Aiden's eyes were gorgeous but they always managed to put a sense of fear in Landon, it made his stomach feel queasy. Aiden continued to stare down at Landon, his face expressionless and unpredictable. Landon began to feel uneasy and remembered how Aiden would do this everytime they had a sleepover, it was pretty normal but Landon had forgotten how scared he felt in these moments.
"Aiden?" Landon mumbled, standing up to face the slightly taller boy who continued to stare right into Landon's eyes. Landon used to slap Aiden to bring him back to focus but that just didn't seem appropriate now. "Fine, tell me when you snap out of it." Landon huffed, brushing past Aiden and heading to the kitchen.
"NO!" Aiden screamed, his eyes darting all over the room, "I DIDN'T DO IT!" He shouted, his face had become pale and his hands had started to tremble. It was like he wasn't in the room, mentally.
"A- Aiden." Landon stuttered, not knowing whether to back up or comfort Aiden. This had never happened, and Landon had no idea what to do.
"HE FELL!" Aiden whimpered, tears now running down his face. Panic began to rise in Landon and a part of him wanted to run away, while the other wanted to comfort his soulmate.
"Who fell, Aiden?" Landon asked calmly, slowly inching towards Aiden who had begun to full-on sob.
"TIMOTHY! I DIDN'T PUSH HIM!" Aiden screamed, he then crumpled to the ground and pulled his knees up to his chest, rocking back and forth. Landon dropped to the ground in front of him, his eyebrows creased in a worried manner.
"Aiden, come back to me," Landon whispered, his voice soft and warm.
"I didn't push him, I didn't push him, I didn't push him," Aiden's voice trailed off and he buried his face in his arms.
"I believe you," Landon cooed, placing his hand on Aiden's knee.
"NO, YOU DON'T!" Aiden bellowed, jumping on top of Landon and wrapping his fingers around the blonde's neck. Landon's fear was full blown now, panic taking over as he tried to pry Aiden's fingers off his neck. Landon couldn't breathe and his vision was beginning to blur.
"Aiden-" He wheezed, his voice hoarse and quiet, "please,"
Aiden's eye instantly calmed down his grip loosened slightly as he realized what he was doing.
"Lan?" He sniffled, he was completely disoriented and his eyes widened as he looked down to see his fingers wrapped tightly around Landon's neck. "No..." He whispered, quickly pulling his hands off Landon's neck. Landon lay unconscious, his eyes had fluttered shut as he lay limply under Aiden.
"NO! No, no, no, no, no!" Aiden began to sob as he lifted Landon's head up and laid it on his lap. "Wake up, please. I need you." He whimpered, bowing his head and trembling.
I'm sorry.
I need you.
Please don't leave.
I can't live without you.
This isn't what's supposed to happen.
I'm so so sorry.
I won't live without you.
I won't breathe.
I-
"Aiden?" Landon wheezed, his voice broken and soft.
"Lan!" Aiden exhaled and pulled Landon close, hot tears slowly rolling down his cheeks. Like many times before, Landon didn't hug him back. Landon stiffened, not saying a word and holding his breath.
"I can't do it," Landon whispered quietly into Aiden's chest. "I can't do this again."
"What?" Aiden paled, his blood freezing in its place and his heart losing its rhythm.
Landon quickly pulled away and stood up, the grip marks on his neck clearly visible.
"I finally had my life together." Landon croaked, backing up towards the door. "I made friends, I got to babysit and watch my neighbors cat without worrying about it being brutally murdered."
"Landon-"
"I found love," Landon stated slowly. "I found real, pure, genuine love."
Aiden could feel his heart slowly being torn to shreds, the pain excruciatingly real.
"His name is Kenny. He's sweet, and understanding, and he would NEVER hurt me." Landon emphasized the 'never'. "He loves me Aiden, it's not an obsession-"
Aiden could feel his limbs go numb and his soul grow dark.
No
"While you were gone, I realized that what I felt for you wasn't love,"
No
"It was fear."
No
"When you cut up my hamster and I hugged you, it wasn't forgiveness or sorrow, it was fear- of you,"
No
"I was scared you would cut me up into pieces, Aiden."
No
"Remeber the night in the forest when we were twelve?"
Please, no
"I was so scared Landon, I heard Timothy scream. I saw your face when you came back. It wasn't... you."
This isn't real
"I didn't kiss you back because I loved you Aiden, I kissed you back because I was terrified you would kill me, just like you killed Timothy."
NO
"I've been on edge since you got back, trying to see if there was even a tiny sliver of the real Aiden Kane in there."
PLEASE, NO
"He's gone, consumed by darkness."
I CAN'T BREATHE
"I can't live my life in fear Aiden. I won't."
I CAN'T LIVE MY LIFE WITHOUT YOU
"Goodbye, Aiden."

Aiden stared at the newspaper, his heart wrenching just a little.
"God, this is just heartbreaking isn't it?" Aiden said empathetically, staring down at the newspaper headline.
BREAKING NEWS: NINETEEN YEAR OLD, LANDON HUGHES, REPORTED MISSING
"I feel so bad for his parents," Aiden sighed, looking over at the pale sickly corpse that lay next to him in bed. "Good thing we have each other, right?" He grinned, running his fingers through the corps' curly blond hair.
I'm sorry.
