Tae and Geunyoung stepped into the backroom, noticing Jiyeon, Jungkook, Jin, and Hobi playing pool. Namjoon was sitting on his chair, his mask on and watching. As usual. Three other girls were sitting by the table, huddled together and whispering.
"Oohh. I wanna play." Taehyung exclaimed, grabbing a cue stick.
Geunyoung sat on a chair, tugging the sleeves of her borrowed sweatshirt and observing the actions in the room. Jiyeon was obviously winning the game and Jungkook was terribly failing at trying to cheat.
"Kook," Geunyoung said, "I know what you're doing." She motioned to his hand, which was covering the pocket of Jin's next easy shot.
Jungkook's eyes widened, shushing Geunyoung and looking around to see if anyone had heard her. "I'm trying to impress Jiyeon." he whispered.
"Don't do it by cheating, kid."
Despite Jungkook's attempts at blocking people's shots, everyone had managed to avoid Jungkook's fingers. As the game continued, Jungkook grunted while Geunyoung watched him, amused.
"What are you so upset about, Kookie?" Jiyeon asked, aiming her cue. She froze for a split second. She hadn't meant to call Jungkook "Kookie." It just slipped from her mouth. Jungkook looked around, noticing Namjoon's happy eyes. Crap, he had heard.
Geunyoung put her focus on the three girls. They were whispering about the people assigned to the mission. Mostly about how hot the boys were and who they thought would be cute together.
"Taehyung is so hot." said the girl on the left with the short brown highlighted hair.
"No way. Jin is way more handsome." contradicted the girl on the left with short black hair pulled up in a ponytail.
"Guys, do you think Jungkook and Jiyeon are cuter or Jungkook and Tae?" asked the girl in the middle, with brown shoulder length hair.
She glanced at Namjoon, who she could feel was staring at her.
She walked towards him, eyes scanning the three mysterious girls. "Who are they?" she asked Namjoon, keeping her voice down.
"They're gonna help you with the mission." Namjoon replied.
"Them?" Geunyoung asked. "Are you kidding me? They belong in a goddamn gossip tower. Besides you've already got me, Jiyeon, and Jisu. Plus the rest of the boys."
Namjoon sighed. "They're not going to be in the mission. They'll just provide you guys with materials."
"I don't trust them."
"You don't trust anyone."
"Because I know what can happen when you trust the wrong people, Joon. People can get hurt. You can get hurt."
The doors suddenly flyed open, Yoongi walking through them. What the hell? Everyone looked at him, wondering why he had made all that commotion.
He had on the same clothes he wore yesterday. Geunyoung had figured he went home after storming out, but maybe she was wrong.
She watched Yoongi as he roughly pulled a chair and sat on it. He grabbed a cigarette and lighter out of his pocket, then took a long drag of smoke.
Geunyoung sat down next to him, taking out her own cigarette.
"Mind if I join you?" she asked, lighting it.
Yoongi glanced at her, not saying anything. He wouldn't let anything slip.
"The thing you told me yesterday. About the music. I bet you're really good. I hope to listen to your cypher song in the future." Geunyoung said, giving a tight lipped smile and walking away.
"It's songs. Cypher songs. Multiple." Yoongi made eye contact with Geunyoung as she turned around. She smiled softly, nodding.
Then she walked towards the others, Yoongi's eyes still trailing her.
