Chapter Five
Niall's POV
I stood there is disbelief as I looked at where Harry was just standing, what just happened here? When I left the room those two had been perfectly fine and were scheming to prank Zayn, they hardly ever fought about something big, there must have been something more then what we just heard. I looked over at Zayn and he seemed like he wasn't sure what to do right now, Louis was sitting on the couch with his arms crossed and breathing heavily, Liam face was probably mirroring mine right now because we were both confused. What had made Louis yell at Harry? And poor Harry. . .He must feel so awful right now, he just had a fight with his best friend and I know he was upset already and Lou just made it worse.
I felt so mad at Louis right now I couldn't even look at him right now, of course I knew Liam would go over there and comfort Louis but he didn't, he stayed where he was and ran his fingers though his hair roughly. Whatever was going on between those two I would have to find out later, right now I wanted to go find Harry and make sure he was okay, not that he would be of course because he looked like he was on the verge of tears when we came in the living room. I ruffled my hair a little bit and headed out the living room and towards the stairs, I felt a warm hand on my shoulder and turned around to see Zayn standing there, he had a firm grip on my shoulder and I could tell he wanted to talk.
"Let's go in the kitchen Niall" He said and let go of my shoulder.
I nodded and followed him into the kitchen and sat down at the breakfast bar, I didn't really know what Zayn wanted to talk about, he had mostly kept to himself since we got here. He sat down next to me and seemed to be in deep thought, maybe he was going to tell me why Harry and Louis fought, then again Zayn isn't the one to go around telling other people's business. He usually let everyone do their own explaining, which was nice but sometimes it wasn't helpful to the rest of us, kind like right now. Of course we knew Zayn wouldn't way why they were fighting, he wanted those two to sort it out on their own time and not force them, I wait for him to start talking which took forever from him to do.
"I know you like Harry, Niall." He said looking at me.
"How did you know that?" I asked him, I was in disbelief.
"It was kinda obvious Niall. . .You didn't hide it that well." He chuckled slightly and I went silent "My point is, I know you want something to happen with Harry but I think you should let him blow off some steam before you, or anyone, sees him."
I let out a sigh and nodded slowly at him, he clapped a hand on my back and stood up fro the bar stool, I watched him leave the kitchen and ruffled my hair a lot. It wasn't like I would try anything with Harry, I'm too afraid that I would screw things up and he wouldn't like me, of course I knew he didn't like me in that way. Harry wasn't gay I'm sure of that, his too much of a ladies man to go for a guy like me, even if he didn't like guys he wouldn't even look my way. I got up from my bar stool and went to the pantry, it was about dinner time and I as getting hungry and wanted something to eat but I wasn't sure what, maybe I should just make a sandwich but the others are probably getting hungry as well.
I grabbed spaghetti noodles off the shelve and some sauce to go with it, I was going to try my best to get everyone together for dinner but it was a long shot, I set the stuff down on the counter and got out and big pot for the noodles. I put it in the sinks and turned the water on to fill it up, I drummed my hand on the sink and waited, I turn the faucet off and put the pot on the stove and turned it on high. I got out a smaller pan for the sauce and figured I'd heat it up some, hopefully I didn't burn anything while doing this cooking, maybe I'd even get Harry down to eat with us but it was high unlikely at this time.
