Chapter Seven

Later that day, I was starving and laying on my stomach.

"Jose? Im scared...about what kinda food they'll have in the cafe"

"...dude...you'll love it. Don't worry"

"Ok..."

The diner bell LITERALLY just rang after that and I sigh before opening the door. I mean, I can't be scared of fuckin' everything am I right? Then I just walk slowly down the stairs and into the cafeteria. I then stand in bewilderment and shock at the different foods they display out. They have dog treats, raw and cooked meat, orange chicken, pizza, peanut butter pretzels, smoothies, soda, boba tea and dog food.

"Woah...thats alotta food"

Jose pops up behind me and says

"Yeah, we ARE werewolves after all"

"...KaDUUURRR I think I'd know this"

I said this in a mocking tone and Jose giggled so cutely, than I went over to get some orange chiken and fried rice. I pull out some fancy chop sticks with Japanesse symbols ingraved on the top of them and Jose starres at me and theny chop sticks

"...first...where did you get those, second, are you japanese?"

I take a deep breath then I say this in a british accent

"I am german, Japanese, british, black american, french, swidish, irish and two types of indian"

"Oh my"

"Yeah"

I start to eat and Jose starres inti the oblivian. As soon as i finished and poked Jose and he didn't move. So I just picked him up, easily with one arm, and brought him to our room. Then after, I tuck him into his covers like a burrito and smiled. I soon winced and stifled a whimper of pain as I attempt to change back to my human form. I later fail and jump onto my bed, having only caused myself mire pain and pointless time, and I quickly fall asleep cause of the rough day. At about 9 a.m., my aunty calls

"Hello, Ethan"

"Heya, mum"

"How are you at your new...place?"

"Fine...I think..."

"Well just to let you know that  they say that if you continue your progress, you can be out in as little as 4 months!"

"Wait wait wait...REALLY?!

Jose gets up, covered in black fur, and rubs his muzzle sleepishly, then stretchs and yawns.

"Yes, im actually worried"

Her tone changes instantly, from happy to serious

"Wwwhhhyyy?"

"Because I...dunno what will happen to you after you get out"

"Hopefully, I'll be fine...I love ya mumzie"

"Love you too...w o l f"

I stutter in shock as i heae a slight sobbing just before the call ended. Then my eyes get filled with tears and i cry a lil bit as Jose pets my back.

"It's ok. A lot of kids get rejected because of this, your not alone"

"*snif snif* Th-thanks J-j-Jose"

I continue to cry abd the breakfast food bell sounds out but we both don't stop what we're doing and I later fall asleep
