Rain was pouring hard. Raindrops fell everywhere, hitting the ground and turning everything wet. Jin was soaked in rain, but he didn't mind at all. For it was raining from his eyes as well. And teardrops running down his cheeks felt worse than the countless raindrops that were hitting him mercilessly.
He was broken; he was empty. He had a full heart just to give away. He was destroyed-- he was hurt so badly. Tears keep falling as he shut his eyes. He was tired. He could not keep it up anymore. For his love to suddenly turn into sorrow, for his rose who turned into thorns.
It starts to feel chilly and the sun was just setting. It got dark and windy.
Suddenly rain stopped hitting his head. Jin opened his eyes. It was still raining hard. But he didn't feel any raindrop on his hair. He looked up, to find a white umbrella above him. And then he met a piercing gaze from a tall guy holding the umbrella. Those wolf-like eyes starts to soften.
"Why, it's getting dark and the rain is so hard. Why not come to our cafe across the street? I saw you sitting here since hours ago."
"Aah, I was just..." Jin quickly shed tears from his eyes.
"It's okay, I just want to remind you that you'll get sick if you keep sitting here. Oh, pardon me, my name is Kim Namjoon. I work there." The tall guy pointed his right index finger towards a small cafe across the road.
Jin started to take deep breath and pretending to be fine, he talks to Namjoon.
"Hmm, is that so. I guess I'll come there when I want some coffee. You see, I prefer tea over coffee, haha. I'm Kim Seokjin, by the way." Jin tried to fake a smile.
"Whoa, we have the same surname! What a coincidence!" Namjoon smiled. "Here, have this. Our cafe is new, so I wanted you to taste some of our things. I'll be looking further to your visit, Seokjin-ssi."
"Thank you so much for the coffee. It smells great! Well then, I think it's already dark. I should go back. Farewell, it's nice to make an acquintance with you, Namjoon-ssi."
Jin just started walking when Namjoon grab his hand. Namjoon's other hand, the one holding the umbrella, were outstreched towards Jin.
"Here, you should take the umbrella. You're drenched in rain already, we don't want you to be wetter than this. I'm still on my shift, so I'll just go back to the cafe."
"Then we shall meet again for me to return this umbrella. Thank you." Seokjin pulls another forced smile while waving his left hand towards Namjoon.
Namjoon just stood there, smiling like an idiot, still watching Seokjin's back going farther and starting to turn smaller.
